New to the message board

Hi everyone. Iv been looking around on obesityhelp.com for over a year and a half now, doing research of course . Decided that surgery was for me and have done all the paper work and nessasary consultaions. I was approved in march 2006 and I figured i would finally join the forum. Im going through Missouri Bariactrics in columbia Mo. Dr fearing is doing my surgery. The only thing im waiting on is the office to go over everything making sure that everything is in order and then Amy said that i should hear from them on tuesday with my pre op appt. date. Im getting butterflies as the time nears. A little about myself: My name is Holly im 30 years old Iv been Married for 9 years and have three children. More about myself ? Hum.......... well theres not really that much more to talk about. I have two dogs, one is a chi chi mix shes 7 years old and a Great dane he's 5 years old. I also have a blue fronted amazon parrot hes 4 years old, and never shuts up. haha but thats okay thats what hes suppose to do. I have a big family and were all very close, everyone is real suportive of my surgery. well Jan i guess thats it, maybe you can tell a me little about yourself , so we can get to know know one another Thanks for your interest, Holly

I do have a lot of my work done, and Im finally relieved that i do. That was a lot of work! It has taken me 6 long months, since the seminar in January to get all my papers and consultations completed. Hoping for a surgery date soon, Holly

Welcome Holly, I'm glad you finally came on board. I'm seeing DR. Hornbostal in Sedalia. My surgery date is 08/17/06, I wi**** would hurry up and get here. I see your from Ellisnore, I have some friends there maybe you know them. Diana Crook ? I used to work with her at Lucy Lee Hospital. Mike and Patty Price ? He is a preacher and he and my husband are in the same Minister Association. Again welcome! Brenda

Hi Holly, I have just got all my stuff done and sent in to the insurance company also. I am waiting for approval. I also go to the Missouri Bariatrics and Dr. Fearing will be my surgeon if I get approved for the surgery. She seemed pretty nice and upfront. My first impression was that I liked her. Keep me posted since you will be "going first". Nice to "meet" you! Sheila J.
