IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!!!!

Hello to all my buddies.....First of all I would like to say something to Benny....Benny?...I now sit for the past week very scared and nervous....Its a normal thing to be scared. Like Mellisa has said she would worry if a person wasnt scared....Benny, I dont know if you were on the board when I told the story about the man on the roof of his house when the flood came and he kept passing help up and then he drowned and when he got to heaven he asked the Lord why, why did you let me die when I prayed so hard?.. The Lord said, I did send help, I sent the boat, the helicopter..Benny take the boat he has sent it to you..Like I did not want to depend on my friends to take me, he sent them to me...God uses tools to help same as gastric bypass is a tool.....Benny you have asked God to help you and now he has shown you the way.....as he showed me, Jan, Brenda, Linda, Mellissa, David, to all our OH family....I said a prayer this weekd as I will before I go into surgery....I told the Lord if anything happens during surgery and it was meant to be my time to take me home with him....There are so many things Satan throws at you.....Just last week the car we got two months broke down. (I began to panic because there is my way to Sedalia)....But, my best friends and Adoptive Sister told me they will back me up if I dont get it fixed in time....so I will have a way now....Iam scared Benny. But not about the surgery its about not getting it....I have said many times its going to hurt like crazy but it will be such a welcome hurt.....Your family is right Benny, My family and friends told me you're going if we have to drag you there....I rebuke Satan all the time ......He has to flee.....that is one of Gods promises to us....Also during the bad times when you think you're not going to make it is also a test of our faith..No matter how much you love God and you have stronge faith ..STILL you get the feeling in the back of your mind. Why is God doing this to me?.......He isnt doing this to you at all...its Satan ....I'll pray that you will be ok Benny. I pray for you and everyone here every night before I even ask of things for me. Iam a firm believer in prayer..But it takes one prayer, he hears you the first time. Instead of repeating, Tell him thanks for helping you and for things that are about to come good for you......Give him the Praise and the Glory....... Jan: Hugs big sister..Ive noticed you're like the big sister of the Board you keep us al motivated...It shows you have a big heart and loveing friendship....You're a true angel... Brenda: Thanks for the sweet email....Thanks so much for that...Monday will make you one month away from surgery ..Trust me it comes fast lol Linda: not to far away ....Iam sure you will be fine and on the road to good health... Sky: Great news and congrats to you...Praise God....see prayers to work and they being answered in heaps...... Racheal: My prayers still go out to you. God will intervene and help you through this keep the faith. Praise God your cousin is ok.... David: Good to see you posting again on the Board and glad you're getting better..... Mellissa: Hey Buddy....Always good to see you post on the board as well....What would we do without our jokester.... If I missed anyone Iam truely sorry....Iam sorta out of it this past few days with planning and getting things ready...Ive read my notebook throught 3 times now......I got the pretest done...but one question I cannot find in the notebook what-so-ever.....How many glasses of water are we expected to intake after surgery? 2-4 glasses. 4-6 glasses or 6-8 glasses...you know I know this answer but Iam drawing a blank...........................................God Bless Ya's.................Craig Lee

Hey Craig. You time is getting real close. I am so excited for you. As for the water question, I don't have the same dr. you do, but I am sure they are probably all the same. My dr wants me to drink at least 64 ounces of water a day. You should double check with you dr. or nutritionist but like I said it is probably the same. I am keeping you in my prayers as your time approaches. Deanna

Craig, I'm sure it will be 64 ounces, but I believe we have to work up to that, we won't be able to do that much right off the bat. Your quite welcome, I pray I can be of help to people, if the e-mail lifted you up then I thank the Lord. Brenda

Wow ten more days. I am so happy for you. Your time is coming fast. Craig as far as the water goes you start out doing an ounce every 10 to 15 min. I am thinking it was every 15 min. They will tell you when you get to drink again. I couldn't wait to get a drink. Shoot even the yucky stuff they make you drink to do the x-ray didn't taste as bad as I thought it would, cause it was at least wet. LOL I know you will do great and God and his angels will be with you and surround you. Just make sure you listen to the nurses and sip your drinks. I had some trouble with the apple juice; it made me feel sick so they gave me a shoot in my IV. If you feel like you want to get sick make sure you tell the nurses. Shoot tell the nurses if anything is bothering you. And I am still planning on making it up there to see you the day after your surgery. I just wish the gas prices would go down for a change. Good luck on your surgery. If God is with you it will be okay. If it is your time to go to heaven that is not bad either. You will win anyway. I have put myself in Gods hands when I cant do anything and just give it all over to God and pray that his will be done. He seems to want me stiil here and he just carries me along. It is not a challenge for God at all. My heart doc told me when I had my gastric bypass in 2003 that my heart was so weak I would die on the table. I trusted God and the surgeons and I was fine. I found out last week that part of my heart is paper thin and just about anything could kill me, like coughing too hard or falling down. I just have to trust God to take care of me unitl he decides to take me to heaven. My sister told me I just had too many people praying for me and that it was not my time to go. She must be right. Surgery is scary and it will not be an easy road but with God we all can do it. I have a rough recovery ahead but I am getting better every day and I know God will lead me through the dark places.

Craig Hey Buddy WOW 10 more day. Boy that went fast hun?? Of course from you end it proabley went slow/fast. I am so happy for you that your day is finally approaching. And you got some great people following you in your steps. I feel the same way about you sweetie also. I am so thankful first off that the Lord walked with me thro this whole surgery process and abled me to get it done!!! Second for leading me to this website and opening the doors to such a beatiful extended family. And that is how I feela bout each one of you. Is you not just someone who lives in the same state I do and we occasionaly post back and forth to one another. I look and feel for you like your a member of my family. There is always going to be that bond I have with you all that my other friends dont have. Just because of you know and understand what I have gone thro. Hey Craig , my buddy, my pal my friend. hope you are dong great today. Happy birthday on Monday. when you will be in Sedalia having pre op done. It is all going to happen and is getting so exciting isnt it? Seems like there are a lot of people following you too. Craig can you give Jamie that has a post on here about being denied the name of that lawyer that Dr. H told us about. I cant seem to find his name anywhere. Maybe he could do something for her . I am getting sort of quiet, my husband said the other day . I think it is because i am thinking a lot more. lol. Thinking about changes we are going to have to make, changes in diet, healthy eating changes, refocusing our lives to start taking care of ourselves instead of everyone else first . Anyway wanted to say the closer you get the closer i get too. Hurry and have your surgery then i will only be 2 weeks behind you LOL Love you Jan

Craig your an awesome perosn and im thankfull God put you and everyone on oh in my life ,, I am going to have the surgery but i need more time so i called margie and asked , she said sure hun and she will give me a call next week and we will go over the scedual because she is going to be gone a week so i want to wait for about 4 more months so i can loose the weight they are wanting me too and save money for motels for my mom and i want to stay over night after im realeased to give me a little more time beife i have to drive 4 hours home . AND THE MAIN THING TO PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING thanks for being here for me and that to you all love ben
