The Alpha...

Got an email from Dena at Dr. Horbostel's office in Sedalia to make my appointment. She said Coventry won't cover the surgery but Medicare should (there's a hurdle to be jumped with Medicare but God willing, we'll make it). She said I need a letter from my PCP and a psch eval. (go figure) I'm so nervous and excited....guess I better get off of here and make an appointment...woohoo! ;)

Hey Debbie, When is your appt? Mine is Aug. 23rd. Maybe I'll see you there. I am going to get my psyche eval as soon as possible so if they say I'm nuts I'll have time to get a second opinion! Marilyn

LOL Marilyn....I might of needed a third or fourth eval. on my head. I lucked out though, been through the shrink thing already for depression. My pcp has been treating me for years now and he is gonna cover me so I won't have to jump that hurdle again. My appt is Aug 30th at 3:30. My pcp and my microsurgeon (for my back) are writing letters to Dr. H's office...guess I have been a good patient. ........yeah, right...hubby says I've been wearing my halo as an anklet for years now! Hey...look on my profile, finally got a picture up so you will know what I look like this time when you see me. Not a pretty one but hey, it's all me. Jan, loved the story about the clays balls (thought it was gonna be a dirty joke at first, thank God it wasn't)...anyway, I loved it so much I sent it out to all my family and friends...made me cry...but that's not always a bad thing ...made me think! Needed to let all my family and friends know how much I care...I do it often but when I get to reading something like that story, it never seems like enough...Love & Prayers to all...Deb
