Still alive
but not kicking... Got home late Tuesday night and was back in the hospital Thursday evening with a case of celluitis. Not fun. Another massive dose of I.V. antiobiotics and another round of oral ones.
Will head to Columbia next Wednesday to get my 27 staples out.
I have lost count of the holes in my arms due to the shots, I.V.s and blood draws. Ready for things to just settle down and get mundane. That would be wonderful right now.
Drs. and I am not too keen on my return to work next Thursday or Friday. They want me to stay out longer and I wish that I could but I can't stand to loose anymore out of my paycheck as it will be w/o pay.
Rachael & Betty.... no I am not out running races or exercising. Just moving around with my walker is enough pain for me right now... though I am VERY happy that I had this done I would NOT wish this on my worst enemy. It is incredibly painful. Incredibly.
Hope that everyone has a wonderful Saturday. I am going to try to relax the best I can.....

Holly Molley girl...I took 3 months off and still didn't feel ready to go back to work!! You must be SUPERWOMAN...but, I do understand about the paycheck~~~money talks! I didn't feel it when my staples came out...in fact my incision is still numb and it's been 7 months...so hopefully that won't be too painful for you. I really wish you had more time to take off to strengthen your leg...I'll be thinking about you. I'm glad to see that you're home and, hopefully those antibiotics will take care of that cellulitus. Isn't Dr. Bal great?
Take care & hugs,
Kelli
