Cape Girardeau Support Group Saturday: Come one Come all!

The SEMO Weight Loss Surgery Support Group will meet this Saturday, July 8, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau from 10 a.m. to Noon. We'll gather in the Generations Classroom, just off the lobby. You can ask directions at the front desk. I have samples of vitamins from Bariatric Advantage to hand out, and we'll do some Protein tasting. If you have a favorite protein you want to bring, let's taste it! I plan to bring Protein Delite, New Nectar Twisted Cherry, Champion Whey Stack Protein, and a canned liquid protein (cant remember the name now) from GNC. There will also be plenty of time for sharing! I know we have some recent surgeries, and others making plans, and well as the golden oldies like me. (Two years out next month!) Hope to see you there. ****Waves**** Hi Joni! I am so glad to hear there is support in Cape... I will be in Springfield, MO THIS Sat. for the seminar...but would DEFINITELY attend any meetings you may have after July 8th... Do you do these every month? I live in Kennett, and Cape is an ideal spot for me!!! Sherr

Hi ya Joni, I'd for sure be interested in attending some future support groups. I live in Ironton which is 22 miles east of Fredericktown on 72 hwy so thats not all that far from Cape. Im just now starting my WLS Journey, I'm on Medicare so I had to go all the way up to Sedalia, MO to attend the seminar for Dr. Hornbostel. I was actually with Dr. Scott in columbia up until Feb 22 when I got the news that all hospitals had to be COE with Medicare so I got put on hold for a bit. July 4th I went to Dr. Hornbostels seminar and now have a consult date of Aug 9th. I'll send you my email addy. Have a great day!! Andrew
