Well for some people this is the first day of work this week. Going to be a very short work week . Everyone is going to be confused about what day it is now for sure. Hope everyone enjoyed their fireworks displays last night. I am getting ready to leave for Mtn Home in a little while to meet one of my friends I met on Obesity Help over 50 forum. She is from the state of Washington. And has been on a tour of the some of the southern states looking up some of her relatives that fought in the civil war. We got a small amount of rain yesterday but it was a very small amount. My daughter who lives in Holiday Island said it rained there for about 4 or 5 hours . Well time is getting closer and closer for several that are scheduled in July and August. Craig, Linda, Me, Brenda, Benny. Who else has a August surgery date? We will soon all be the biggest losers. Wont it be fun? Rachael: I certainly hope you are going to find out about all your pain. Is it in your muscles or in your bones? When will you get the results from the MRI Did you get all your laundry done up? Now you can come do mine. Just kidding. Sky: hope you have a safe and uneventful trip to Maryland. Make lots of money and get your supplies you need. Oh yeah be careful about some of the protein bars. They will be loaded with Carbs. Let us know as soon as you get back ok. Blonde: you must me awfully young. I am older than your mom by a lot of years. I hope this month zooms by really fast too. They say time flies when you are having fun . Melissa: I'm so glad your fil has you for a dil. Just do the best you can with him and im sure your hubby loves you all the more for all of it. I hope you and Terry had a good time with the nephew at fireworks last night. Colette: Yummy that fresh sweet corn sure does sound good. How much did you get out of it put up? My neighbors gave me 2 huge bags of fresh green beans. I snapped them and put them in the freezer. Enough for Joe and I about 4 meals worth. Andrew: So glad that you found us now. So what did you find out last night at the seminar? Were there a lot of people there? I think his seminars have being packed for the last 3 months. Since he and the hospital is the only ones in several several miles that is allowed to do Medicare surgeries. Please feel free to post as often and as much as you want. Hey girls we have another guy....LOL Sorry Andrew don't mean to scare you or anything. Anyway im an old lady so I am harmless. Craig : no need to feel nervous, God is with us in this endeavor I just know it. Benny : did you enjoy the fireworks and BBQ? Still waiting to hear from Wayne and David. Lovely Lana: Where are you? How is the exercising program going? Debbie M.: glad you like Dr. Hornbostel. Get the paper work in really fast so they can get you an appointment set up soon. He is a busy man especially since he has the only hospital that is COE in the State.Wonder why they started early that isnt like them to do that. Hope all of you can be at the meeting in Springfield on the 10th . Anxious to meet some of you . I wont be at the one in August because that is my surgery date. Good reason huh? LOVE, AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

Is it morning already?? Good Morning my Lovely MO Family. How did everyones 4th go?? We had a blast (no pun intended) We didnt get back inside last night until after 12:30am. Finally rolled into bed at 1:30 and my dear Mother (God bless her soul) called me at 6am wondering if I was sitten out on my front porch. GGgggrrrrrrr Okay but I am up now have been for awhile trying to get my eyes from being crossed and open up. I am too old for these last night shin-dings. Jan: Sweetie I pray you have a great time with your OH friend. I know it is great when you have been talking to someone for a period of time to finally get to meet them face to face. Have FUN!!!! Debbie: I bet you were glad that you was there early. Thats too bad that they started early and so many people missed out on alot of information. P.S. I like Eeyore. Benny: How did the BBQ go?? We smelled grills cooking all day yesterday from around the neighborhood. Isnt it amazing how you could of just eaten and then you smell someone cooking on a grill and your mouth starts to water all over again?? Not that you could eat again but it is just the smell. (I think I will go into the air freshner business and make the new Airwik Grill smell airfreshner) lol Craig: Well buddie not too long from now is your big day. If you wasnt nervious and rethinking your decision then we would be worried. Trust me we all go thro it at some point. Just say GET THEE BEHIND ME SATAN!!! He is under your feet. Jesus is right there with you where ever you go just like the song says: And He walks with me and He talks with me. And He tells me I am HIS OWN!!! Sky: Good luck with you trip. Thank you for the information you emailed me yesterday. And I do understand. Racheal: I sure hope you took a little time for yourself yesterday. Your in our thoughts and prayers. Were just gonna believe for a healing for you!!! Love ya sweetie. Andrew: So how was your trip yesterday? Did you make it there in time. Debbie said that they started early?? Glad to have you on board. David: How are you doing with all those puppies??? Wayne: I think you just dont love us no more. L. Lana: Havent heard from you in awhile. How are you doing?? Are you going to be at the meeting on Monday?? I sure do hope I get to see your smiling face there. Blonde: Before you know it you will be wondering where the time went. lol Colette: Mmmmmmm Fresh corn. That sounds so good with a pat of butter and salt. I guess I am going to have to go to the veggie stand today now. lol Nana Linda: How are you doing?? 3 weeks from today I will be headed your way. Cant wait to finally get to meet you. Heya Jan, The seminar was great, it was jammed packed with at least 50 - 60 people or better, on a holiday at that. Dr. Hornbostel was great, down to earth but yet upfront in telling you like it is, I love that. For some reason I learned more with his seminar then the past 2 I've attended in other areas, dunno if it finally sunk in or was the way he explained things, he really made things simple. I so can't wait to get started, well actually I started last night by being at the seminar. We decided to drive home last night because my wife has to take her dad up to St. Louis to the Dr. We got in about 1:30am and I sat up, went online and filled out everything on the site I needed to. I also faxed in my insurance cards so everything is now waiting for them at Dr. Hornbostels when they arrive. I asked him about how long it would before a surgery date pending everything going as planned, he said if things go smooth with the insurance (Im on Medicare) I should have a surgery date by October, wooohoooo. Hahaha I dont scare off that easy, I am pretty scary to look at tho LOL I dont if this will help anyone or not but on the way home last night we stopped at SuperCenter Walmart and found the ON 100% Whey Gold Standard protein, only in a couple flavors, chocolate and strawberry, the lady said they usually have more flavors and the price was 11.96 for a 2lb can. Not to bad a price. Well anyway, I'll stop jabbering, hope everyone had a good 4th. Happy Hump Day! Andrew

Morning Missouri Lovelies: I watched fireworks being lit here in my Subdivision, from the comfort of my big window in my home "office" sitting at my desk NO humidity and NO BUGS lol Jan: I am 37, my mom had me pretty young, but she married even younger. Sadly, she is in waaay better shape than I am! I think a lot of my ailments are due to the fact I was a 1960s premie baby, weighing tw pounds. I don't think they knew what to do w/ us back then. Mom always says, "I wasn't cooked enough" LOL So did I make up for it OR WHAT (weighing 2 pounds at birth??))) Mel: Hello g/f...I am glad to hear about the fun you had...you ole' skamp...staying out til the wee hours....(((j/k!!!))) I am really looking forward to moving along in the process of things...I pulled out my pink gym bag last night, to pack an outfit for Saturday and toiletries needed for the overnite hotel stay in Springfield on Friday...I know, it's silly... but I have always packed waaay in advance for any travel I take...that gives me time to forget stuff, and then Remember it Are there any kewl off-price stores in Springfield? In Atlanta we had Value City, Ross' Dress for Less, Marshall's, Tj Maxx...and my ALL time favorite, "Feilene's Basement...which was the Bloomindale's Discount Center...GOSH I loved that store I know...I talk a good story, but feeling so poorly, I will be lucky to make the trip...and will probably get up there, and not want to go anywhere Hope you guys are having a good day! You are soooo sweeetttt, No, I am going up Friday/ and leaving right after the Seminar at Noon on Saturday. I can't really afford the night in the hotel, (((which all ladies knows that means Sherr will be cutting the budget elsewhere to compensate))) lol But I feel too bad to get up at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday morning to drive straight in and go to it, then turn around and drive straight home... Maybe 15 years ago...but not today.... I drive a monster vehicle, so I need to be alert and both hands on the wheel at all times... ***Like "what OTHER way" are ya supposed to drive right??? LOL, but this vehicle requires it**** And "NO" I don't know what I was thinking when I bought it...my mom says that all the time! LOL I hate that I will miss you guys Sherr

Heyaaaaa, Im so excited, I got all my paper work done online and faxed in my medicare card and all and got an email back that I can call to make an appointment, I called and have an appointment for August 9th for my consultation wooooohooooo one more step closer yay!!! I just had to share that quick. Jan they did start early, I think it was because a couple people started asking Dena questions and she went right into talking about a few things before Dr Hornbostel arrived, he pretty much started his thing right at 6pm, a few were still walking in, I sure hope they got signed in and all. Have a great day ya'll!!!
