Sunday Morning Whats Happening:
Good morning! Beautiful Sunday morning, it is suppose to get to 98 today. They are saying that on the 4th now it may rain. I don't want to be a spoil sport for everyone that has things planned for that day but I sure hope we get the rain. The painters worked into the night last night inside the house painting. I don't know how much they got done because they arent up yet . I am about to go over and wake them since they only have a few hours to get the rest of the stuff done before they go home. As it is they are going to have to come back next weekend to finish one thing they started.
Was ou****ering this morning and found a tiny little bunny rabbit in my pond. I guess he jumped in there or fell trying to get a drink and couldn't get out . Sad.
My flowers seems to be thriving even with all this heat. Things are still growing.
I have already put a roast on to cook this morning so I have dinner made. Lol
I cooked fresh green beans and new potatoes yesterday so will just have to warm them up with the roast.
Hope everyones day is good and safe
Melissa: hope you have loads of fun with your company. Are they staying the whole holiday? How is your little nephew doing?
Deanna: good to see you back online. Hope your vacation with your son is a good one and your get well rested. You need to get a new picture up . I know that a weight loss of over 100 pounds has to make a difference .
Love and Joy and Peace Abounds. Jan
Good Morning
Well all is quite on the home front. Had a blast and everyone is headed back home. We all got up early this morning and went to eat b-fast at Golden Corrall before they all left. Trying to get home for my mother before it gets too hot for her. They will be going down to Arkansas to my sister's house for the 4th. Were staying here to be with DH's father if we can get him to come over. lol
After we left the reastrant we took my nephew to the park for a couple of hours. Stopped and got me a 20oz water, came home, straighten house and washed dishes, DH & our nephew made the beds. So they house is picked up and it is time to relax for a spell. I love it when I get company it seems like we just run run run.
Nothing big planned for today. Going to invited my father-in-law over for lunch/dinner. Go out to the pool to exercise and lay out. And maybe watch a movie later. Just veggatate today. So how did everyones weekend go?? Anyone got big/little plans for the 4th??
I am so glad to see everyone coming out of the woodwork. And getting involved on the board. It really is great to see. All the support here on the board among friends and family.
Love ya'll
Melissa
Hi Jan and Melissa. Sounds like you two have had a very busy morning. We haven't done a whole lot. Slept in since we didn't go to bed until after 1. Now we are busy straightening up after the BBQ yesterday and doing some laundry. Later on we are going to go swimming. I hope it doesn't rain on the 4th. Cody has been looking forward to the parade for a whole year. We went to see fireworks at the lake last night so at least we did get to see some fireworks if it does rain. As for a new picture it will have to wait since the technical staff put my picture up for me and they aren't doing that right now. One of these days I will figure out how to do it myself. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Try to stay cool.

As you all know my DH is pastor of our church, so far today we went to Sunday School and morning worship service then we stopped at one of our favorite eating spots for dinner. It's one of the mom/pop restuarant where you sit down and they actually bring you a glass of water and a menu. Don't find many of those anymore. I wanted to say also that the get together is a good idea but I most likely would not come because it's to far and we could not stay very long if we did, we would have to be back for church. Well next on my agenda is a nap. You always got to get your nap in before you go back to church tonight.
Everyone have a great holliday and celebrate your freedom but remember

Hello fellow Missourians!
Jan: That is a sad story about the bunny There is a mommy and her baby that play around my neighborhood...they play some sweet games with each other.
Local teens are shooting those "screaming bottle rockets" always makes me jump and scares my little old men puppies.
They are scardy cats anyway
Went to the only place to shop in town today...Super Walmart, found that BIOTIN that some people here are saying is good for your hair. SHOCKER: it was $1.36!!!
Mainly just looked at everything, protein powder, broths, did buy two different teas...
They are made be Snapple, and they are reasonably priced at $1.97 for 24 bags...one is Mixed Berries and the other is MANGO ((Yum!))
I went ahead and booked a hotel room in Springfield for Friday night. The five hour (each way) trip just sounded too hard for me to get up at 3:30 a.m. and drive all morning to make the appt. then have to drive back.
This way I can rest before the Seminar, and be more Lucid when they are talking about everything...instead of snoring in the back
Hoping you guys are having a good holiday! My mom will be 56 on the 4th, so we will celebrate right on the 4th.
XO
