Friday Whats Happening:!!!!!!!!
Good morning fellow Missourians.
We are getting some good response to a weekend get together. I have had several emails and a lot of people are mentioning Bennet Springs. That is a very beautiful place. I'm sure there are some motels there; I know there is trailer parking and camping. I think we could really have fun doing this. Everyone could bring a dish for wls patients and something extra for the other family members that will be there too.
Some have said they would come in on Friday night and stay until Sunday midday. That would be fine.
I felt better today than yesterday. Still weak and bones hurt really badly. My oldest daughter has the same thing, I don't think it is because we work too hard at times; it is just something that happens at times. If it continues after surgery I will get it checked out.
Well the workers will soon be here to start painting. We hired son in law and daughter to do all this painting for us, they really need the money and we neither one feel like doing it. Lol
It is going to be very hot today. I have 4 gal jugs ready to set out to make ice tea for today. I figure with them painting they will need it. I will sure be glad when that is done so it will look better.
Melissa: hope you are having lots of fun with the nephew. You will be such a great mom. I just found out yesterday that our niece is going to have another baby. Her little girl who is 5 now is the one we have taken care of so much. Don't work too hard getting ready for family this weekend. But have a great time with them.
Triple C: Hey not long till surgery now is it? That is the way I am feeling, not scared but just anxious about how like is going to be after. I know if others can do it so can we.
Sky: everyone says that even if you don't see pounds coming off there may be inches coming off. And the fact that you can now walk 2 blocks not one is great. Keep going girl adding more and more. Soon it will be in miles not blocks. The weight will take care of itself if you do everything you are supposed to do. I just can't imagine losing as much as you have and feeling as good as you do in a few months. Can't wait to join you on the losing side.
Colette: Ok Sky wants to know and I do too where do you get the Gastro card? Does the doctor give it to you or what?
I am thinking more and more about getting my nursing lic. Reinstated after surgery and going back to work a couple of days a week. When I get to feeling well again. I would like to buy a gold wing trike for hubby and I, and they aren't cheap but could buy one with what I made doing that. And if I feel as well as everyone else says they do I will be able to do that. Lol
Kerri: congratulations on the new baby boy. That is wonderful. Hope he brings all of you lots of joy and happiness.
Deanna: So good to hear from you again. Wow great on the weight loss. Over a hundred pounds since November. That is fantastic. Could you ever imagine that before? And just think it is gone forever.
Don't be such a stranger; we miss our friend when they don't come on the boards.
Well it is now 44 days until my surgery. That isn't too long in some respects but in others feels like a lifetime. Have so much that I want to get done that hopefully it will keep me busy and the days will fly.
This weekend may be so busy that I don't get on as much but will try. If not will see everyone later. Have a great holiday. Don't blow off any fingers, or toes and stay safe and as cool as possible. Drink lots of water.

Good Friday Morning everyone
Well I was up early putting the finishing touches on the house today. Everyone showed up around 8am. We are all sitten out on the front porch enjoy the breeze and chatting away. Getting ready to go to the store and run some errands. It sure is beaitul outside right now. But I am afraid it is gonna get mighty hot today. I hope everyone has a great day.
