Hiya folks..... I will be gone from the boards for a few days (hopefully not too many) as I will be heading to Columbia for my knee replacement. I am scheduled to be the first one in this Thursday morning (June 29th) . Surgery will be at Columbia Boone Regional with Dr. Sonny Bal presiding over the "festivities". Mike and I are in the process of finding a motel room so we can travel up there the night before.....so I won't be online after Wednesday morning! Wish me luck folks... I have waited a long long time for this. Very tired of the pain and the physical limitations. I'm VERY ready for this..... Elizabeth~

To each and every one of you that wished me well... THANK YOU! I have waited a long long time for this surgery and have needed it desperately for the last 15 years (but I was too young)... I suffered a career ending injury when I was only 16 (gymnast) and have endured terrible knee problems since then. Dr. Bal has told me that he feels confident that you won't be able to tie me down once I am recuperated from this replacement. I am SO looking forward to that! I can honestly say that I do not remember a day without severe pain. After awhile it just really drags you down. I am not one to take pain killers so I have just tried to deal with it. Oh boy, just thinking.... the end of all of this misery is in sight! What a relief! Thanks for all the kindness folks... it does wonders for my soul!... Blessings... Elizabeth~

Thanks David! btw...how are you doing lately? I bet that you are zooming around as well !! Mike and I were down in the Branson area this past weekend. We were checking out the antique stores and flea markets. I think that I stopped at EVERY store between Branson and home... WHEW... but we had fun! Elizabeth~
