Went to the Taney county fair tonight

My husband's band played the fair tonight. It went really good until I had a funnel cake i had to make 2 really fast trips to the bathroom. But it was ok after that. I just can't resist funnel cake. I don't dump on carbs or sugar but they were greasy. I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow. I am going with dh to the dentist in the am. This should be a real hoot lol. Take care all. Carol

Mike and I were thinking of checking out the fair this weekend. I haven't been to it in YEARS!... Can you tell me what is on tap for this Saturday afternoon and evening? I looked online and couldn't find anything other than basic info. on it. I work at the bank til noon so won't be down in that neck of the woods til 2ish at best! Sorry that you had problems with the funnel cake.... also note that just because you don't think that you dump on sugars doesn't always mean that you won't. I have learned that somedays you can eat something and the next time you try it ...it rises up and nips you on the hiney.... Hope you are feeling better though! Elizabeth~

Ain't it the truth?? I have found -- unfortunately -- that I don't dump on sugars. But I had just a small bite of a piece of cake recently and had a horrible reaction!!! I'm trying to use that to my advantage to keep from getting back in to the carb crap!! Connie
