Hello Missouri, my mother in law lives in Stover and we're coming up from Ky July 3 for a visit. We always get off at the Kingdom City exit and go down. To get to Versailles, thats where we're staying cause its the closest place to her house lol, what road do we take out of Jeff City? Its been 2 years since we've been up there and we usually stay in Osage Beach or Camdenton but this year we're staying closer to her house instead of having to drive back and forth. Its beautiful up there at the lake. Can't wait to get there...Could use some directions from Jeff City down to Versailles, though.. Thanks Angela

Hi, Angela, I would go to www.mapquest.com to get directions from where you live to where you want to go. It will give you the shortest route, scenic route, or preferred route to your destination. I use mapquest all the time. Hope you have a great trip. Linda

Thanks Linda, I will do that. I am sure once we get to Jeff City we'll remember which road to turn on too. Its just been a couple of years. But, I'll do mapquest just to be safe... Thanks Angela My mother in law and stepfather in law haven't seen me for 2 years and I've had surgery and lost 160 pounds since then! I am so excited about going. They know I've had surgery but they haven't seen me!

Congratulations on your weight loss. 160 pounds is a lot of weight gone--and staying gone is the best! Your in-laws are going to be soooooo surprised! Let us know what they say when you get back. I have 50 more days to go before I'm on the losing side--August 10 is my surgery day. I'm so excited! I can hardly wait. Have a great trip and keep us posted... Linda

Hi Angela, The fastest route from Jefferson City is to take Route C. The road is 2 lane, but so is any other from there, and it is the shortest by far. You would get on 54 from 70 at Kingdom City and follow it through Jeff City to the exit for Wardsville, then go right and take the exit for Russellville. Turn left on that exit and you're on C, which goes straight into Versailles. From Jeff City to Versailles is about 45 minutes. Good luck!
