Its about time!!!!!

Hello all .. Every time I posted on here a mircosoft error message said I need to send a request back to them ..I did this about 8 times but nothing come from it..I guess now they got it.....Glad to see everyone is ok and doing well....I now can say....Iam 3 weeks and 4 days away from my preop day and my birthday. Then I got one more week to go..It really has been going rather fast, some of it..My family are all calling me and wishing the best for me....Most of them will be there surgery day, which is nice. At first I didnt think they were happy for me getting this done. Some friends tell me oh my Cousin or my Aunt had that done here while back and they have all kinds of trouble..I asked them what surgery was it ..they say "oh they had their stomach stapled".. LOL...well then for orneryness i ask how long ago was it? they usually say oh about 10 or 20 years ago...Then I have to explain to them the new te*****ue..they are like totally amazed....NOW they are also seeing all the new TV Commericals on....So, PPL are sorta getting the info about it more and more....Well, Have a great day .............God Bless ..........................Craig Lee

wow so glad to see you back with us. seems like everyone went thru that little spell with microsolf for awhile. i did too but just kept on. no way were they going to keep me off this site...lol. Anyway i am getting excited about your surgery too. It means mine is closer too. Yeah i know some people are still not very schooled in the new surgeries and how great they are and how little problems people have out of them. Sure there is risks but arent there with everything? I say it isnt any more riskful than gall bladder surgery or a hernia operation or an appendectomy. Thank God that he gave some people the wisdom to know how to do this. Jan

Jan and Benny, You are so right that people just don't understand. When people start with me I just say, "I am going to have this surgery and I don't want to hear any negativity so please just stop now". Most people do stop and when I tell them about the health benefits, like stoping diabetes and hypertension, they understand. It seems they just don't want anyone to have it just to look better. Of course most of them aren't MO so they don't understand the subtle and not so subtle discrimination we deal with every day being MO. By the way, my exercising is not as bad as I anticipated. I think it will be good to be in better physical shape when I have the surgery and help my healing process. For me it is just a matter of time. I hate to spend any time on something I really don't like to do but I know I'll have to do it after surgery so it's good to get into the habit now. Hope you have a great day. Lana

If memory serves right you were having computer problems earlier and had rebooted/reloaded ? Please correct me if I am wrong? If so, when you do that you probably did not get the latest security updates that went along with your current Microsoft programs. If those are not downloaded you are prone to get errors like this for various reasons. I don't know if you remember or not last year or so when all the "worms" were running rampant... the fix patches from Microsoft solved the issues. When you reload/reboot computers alot of the times the patches are not done .... which means you get these glitches. Also doing the "report" to Microsoft is not going to get you a response other than a canned one (if any at all).... you can take care of these issues by making sure that your computer has an excellent virus program and that you check for critical updates and download them as needed. I have our computer set up to let me know when something needs addressed... It is frustrating to have to deal with things like this. Some of these virus' and worms will not even let you stay connected to the internet long enough to download the patches to fix them. You just have to do little hits and dabs as you can ... very frustrating... Glad to see that you are back online and posting though! Elizabeth~

Elisabeth...you know I did think of that and downloaded 22 critical updates to my computer so far so good on the error messages not popping up....Iam just amazed that I took my computer completely apart. Then I pieced one back together with used computers my friends gave me....I cannot believe I could do something like that lol but it works better than my old one..It is still my old one just new guts inside...LOL kinda like a gastric bypass overall lol.......Craig Lee
