Last night's support group in Sedalia...

We had a great time at the support group in Sedalia at Bothwell last night. I finally got to meet Sky and she is doing great! I couldn't believe how good she was getting along and how she acted like nothing had happen to her. I hope I am just as fortunate as she is with my surgery in August. We learned a lot of neat ways to exercise with the Swiss ball. We just rolled all over the room! I look forward to next month's meeting and hope I get to meet more of the "boarders." Linda

so glad that you enjoyed the meeting in Sedalia. Was Colette there? She is a sweetie. That is great that Sky is feeling that well. I havent seen her on here in a couple of days. Jan

I don't think Colette was there--but I'm not sure I know what she looks like. Everyone introduced themselves and I don't remember hearing anyone say they were "Colette". I would have liked to meet her. Maybe she'll be there next month. Sky even got on one of the Swiss balls and tried some of the exercises that didn't stretch her stomach. She was a good sport about it, too. Linda

Sorry I did not make it to the meeting last nite. I was too tired from the big weekend of celebration. What a blessing we enjoyed with all of our family and frriends over the weekend. We had 26 for supper friday nite, the celebration for our 50th was on Saturday, and wetook 31 guests to church with us on Sunday morning. Some of the people went home on Sunday, and some of our children stayed till Monday morning. Oh what a wonderful time we had. Also we had 33 for lunch at our house on Sunday. Yesterday I went to Lee Summit and helped my daughter pack all day as she is moving July 1st. Hope to see you soon and meet everyone. Yes I had a great time at the meeting. I did miss Colette being there. But I got to meet Linda and Brenda and alot of others. I had fun playing on the balls, but there was so many of the things I am not supposed to do yet that I gave the ball I was using to some others as there wasn't enough balls for everyone to have one.
