Checking in
hello all,
Been awhile since I've posted. We get busy don;t we?
I'm around four and a half months post op and am down 67 lbs. not as fast as I'd hoped, but I'm settling into how my body is willing to release the weight. I'm just 8 lbs from onederland. I can't even remember being below 200 so that will be a momentus day for sure.
Next week I leave for Florida and Alabama for a weeklong book tour. I'll be on two TV local shows down there. Yikes. Glad I've lost weight.
I don't do so well wiht my eating. I'm not disciplined enough. I wish I had a local support group. Making it to Springfield is too big of a challenge with our schedules and four kids. Katie from St. JOhns had talked about starting a Lebanon group, but I haven't heard anything about it in awhile!
I guess that's all. Just wanted to say hi and to let everyone know I check the boards a few times a week. I just don't usually have time to post.

Tracey Baby - howdy doo? Sounds like your weight loss is doing well. I am also passing a threshold - you are hitting onderland and I guess that makes me twoerland. Huge milestones. I am about 78 pounds down (not counting the 18 before the surgery)....does your body feel different? Mine is a bit weird-ly - like a feel a bone or something that I haven't had there in awhile and it's a bit surprising.....
Good Luck travelling, enjoy the spotlight. Eat what you can, when you can. I use the profect drinks and they really help me stay on track. Very portable and 25g of protein, no fat, no carbs, 100 cals. I keep them in my purse and down two a day - then I can be a little looser with my real food. It may not be the perfect plan but it's working. These drinks would be really easy for travel. Just a thought if you haven't tried them
Great to hear from you...keep up the good work
