Whats Happening Week End:

Good morning all: Well what is happening in your neck of the woods for the week end? Ours will probably be more of the same. Nothing different. Except may have company come in on Sunday for the day. I was so tired last night that I went to bed at 9:30 and just now woke up but still feel sleepy, so when I finish this I may go back to bed again. I do this once in awhile. It is like my body says whoa, now you need some rest. Sky: wow Im so glad that you are feeling well enough to walk around the block at least So what will you have to go back in six months for Dr. Hornbostel to do then? Is that to repair the hernias you have ? Now you go back to see him in a month right? When you feel well enough start with more and more walking and exercise. So you are on pureed foods now? Benny : So glad you are back to your normal self now, what ever that may be. LOL. Must have been just relief from everything ,that now you knew you were going to have the actual surgery. So get with this diet guy. Did you ask them yesterday why you have to lose that? Colette: Have a Great Week end. With all your family and friends while you have your celebration of 50 years with your wonderful husband. Nana Linda: Welcome back , we have missed you. Where will you be going on your vacation? Hope it is somewhere you are excited about, you deserve it. So glad that you had a good report from the Doctors on the blood work. They must have high hopes for you if they don't want to see you for 3 months. I saw the previews for that movie. They look really funny. Give us a preview after you have seen it ok? Have a great evening with your granddaughter. That is always fun. Brenda: Did you finish your spring cleaning? Those rolling wheeled chairs do come in handy for a lot of things don't they? I found that I can even sweep my floor with mine. Otherwise my hubby has to sweep because it hurts my back so much. I think you and I must have all the same things wrong with us. I think the only thing is that Im not depressed. Maybe yours will get a lot better and you will be able to handle all of it a lot better after you have surgery and can move around and do things that you cant do now. Pain is the biggest cause of depression for most people. We will pray that you will be able to get off those meds too after surgery. Just know that we all love you and care about you. Well not many of you responded to our daily posting here and we have lots of people still not with us. Melissa : must have got too much sun yesterday in her pool. Will see you all tomorrow morning. Good morning Jan and everyone else. I just got back from my morning walk. Looks and feels like it's going to be another hot one out today. The way the Dr. talked is when I go back for more surgery in 6 to 8 months it will be to get a pouch (stomach). Right now I just have kind of a sleeve I guess. But right now I am feeling great and my DH is worried I am going to over do it somehow. I go back to see the Dr. in a month. Right now I am on soft foods. I think I am getting to move through the stages faster than normal because I don't have the pouch and he didn't get my small intestines moved. I guess that will happen on my next surgery. I'm not really sure, but I do know the only thing that has really made me sick is laying down right after drinking water. LOL But then again I have been very careful with what I try. I did ask about my Dt. Dew, and he said I could have it but to be prepared to get a very bloated felling. Well I got me a Dt. Dew and sipped at it and it didn't bother me at all. YEA!!!! See I gave up my smokes I really didn't want to give up my Dt. Dew. But I sure don't drink it like I used to. I used to drink anywhere from 5 to 10 cans a day. Now maybe one. I went back to work yesterday and I felt pretty good. I think the pacemaker is working although I cant tell anything. I am not as tired as I was before and that sure is a good thing. Technology sure is amazing anymore. I had something good happen this week. My three akc chihuahuas are pregnant and two of them had puppies yesterday. Lulu had four and Precious had 2. Lady is due sometime this week and should have 4 or 5 puppies. Anybody want a chihuahua puppy? I will have plenty to sell . They will be pre spoiled and as rotten as they can be. I play with them and socialize them so when they go to new homes they are used to being handled and demand attention. From 4-6 weeks old they are lots of fun. I will be have to careful where I walk when they get big enough to get around. Right now they just stay in their boxes and nurse, but they are awfully cute.

Good Morning (grrrrr) My right shoulder is so sore from last night. As you know I have my newphew staying with me for this summer. Well last night we all go into the pool around 6pm and didnt get out until almost 9pm. He loves wrestleing and wanted to play. Well needless to say I am so sore this morning. My shoulder feels like it was pulled out of socket. My chest feels like I got a weight on it. Man I didnt relaize just how out of shape I really was. Plus we was in water so your suppose to use more muscles. (more muscles I didnt even know I had those muscles) lol I am going to back in the pool today. Trying to get into a excercise regiment everyday. Plus I love being in the water. So what is everyones plans for this weekend?? They say it is gonna be hot so please be careful and stay out of the heat. Jan if your sleepy sweetie climb right back into bed for awhile. I dont blame you I would be still in bed if DH didnt wake me just so he can go garage saleing. lol Have a great weekend Melissa

Jan I forgot to call them ,you just reminded me lol.I will though , i have a head cold and its moveing down to my chest , hope im better by monday cause i want to go to suport group

Jan: I still have some cleaning to do, but I'll get in done with the help of my wheels. I do suffer from depression as I have already said, I know the pain has alot to do with, I can't believe your pain doesn't do that to you, count yourself lucky there. I didn't do to much today, had a girlfriend and her sister visit this afternoon. Other than that just kinda veged out. I think I would like to have a pool instead of having to set under the air conditioner, can't take that heat! Well everybody have a good day tomorrow. My plans are Sunday School and Church in the morning and then we are all going to Elephant Rock for our church picnic. Have a great one. Brenda
