Early Bird Thursday Posting:

Well here it is Thursday morning all ready. This week is almost over. I now have 2 months 5 days left till surgery..whoohoo the only thing that could be better is that it was only 5 days away. But Im sure it will get here soon. I have all my paper work filled out that I am to take for pre ops done. Each week when I buy groceries I buy something else that I think I might be able to eat for the days before and after . I am stocked up on sf jello and puddings, I have 4 boxes of sf popcicles in the freezer. Bought a new pretty robe the other day. Found one on sale that I liked and it wasnt expensive so bought it to take to hospital with me. It just happened to be purple , my favorite color . Today I am taking Hubby back to pain clinic. I dont know if they will do another injection in his back today or when but he needs it now. If not today then it needs to be soon. It is suppose to get extreemly hot today so probably wont be doing much in the yard unless i do it as soon as i get done writing this. Brenda: you are right about me being an early bird. I dont know how many othere here are but I can only sleep so many hours and then i have to get up. I usually dont go to bed until about midnight but am up around 4 most of the time.Any more than that and im too stiff to move. I like your story about God and the his first children. LOL Im sure that after wls you will be able to ride in the car longer . That is weird that there wouldnt be a support meeting in Poplar Bluff. Like I said maybe you could advertise in the paper about any wls patient wanting to form a support group there. OH might be able to help you out with ideas. Colette: Your meetings there in Sedalia I found out from the web site are at the Hospital and they have changed them to the second tuesday of every month at 6 pm. Your B&B idea really sounds great. All you need to do is rent a house there that has about 3 bedrooms. and furni**** Doesnt need to be fancy. Patients would only be there one night with husbands maybe being there the next 2 nights. So the turn over rate would work out for at least 3 out of town patients a week. Sounds good to me. I could plan this all out for you lol. Im good at telling others what to do LOL I bet your house really is looking good like it had a face lift. speaking of i think that is the plastics i will think about having after i lose all of this weight. I can cover up all the flab of the body but your face is like out there. Linda that is a shame about your mammogram and the tech tearing you skin. They always make the things so darn high. I have to stand on tiptoe to get my boobs in there. Maybe after surgery it wont be as bad the girls will be so floppy that we can just sling them in there. I have never liked exercising either but i do like walking so maybe that will be my saving grace. Benny your picture of your hair in the morning looks like mine too in the morning. I swear i dont remember sleeping standing on my head. Maybe that is why i wake up so tired most of the time. lol. Looking forward to seeing you at the meeting. Have you got back in touch with Melissa yet? Do you live at your parents house. and is that where the computer is? Melissa: Sweet Melissa. Did your mom name you after that song? You are such a little doll to say such sweet things about me. I just like talking to you all and want to get everyone involved in the boards. Makes it so much more fun. Hope you got that pool up because today would be a great day to get in it. I cant wait to meet you, feel like I know you really well already. Wonder where Wayne is. He must be keeping busy with his exercising classes and everything. Well I will get off here and get outside in the dirt before it get tooo hot and then come in and take a shower so we can get over to Branson by 11am See you all tomorrow morning bright and early. Good Morning Jan.....and everyone else. J Jan you are such and inspiration to me. You always seem to be in a great mood. And you're always up so early in the mornings ready to get your day started. And it sounds like your more than ready for your big day. And I thought I was getting things lined up pretty well but compared to you I didn't have much at all ready. LOL I understand how you feel though and I am so happy for you and can't wait to have you over here on the other side on the loser's bench. I hope all goes well for your DH and his pain treatments. I hope those treatments work for him. They tell me they work for most people but they sure didn't help me much. I go see Dr. H today. Wow it's been one week today. In some ways it seems like it's been longer and some ways it seems like wow only a week? LOL I know that sounds crazy but maybe I am kind of crazy who knows. I was so glad to see Craig's eyes aren't as bad as he thought. And Melissa if you were closer I would come over and help you try out your new pool. And I love the story about God's first children. Hi early bird, how are you this fine morning. I am like you, get up early but not until 6. I love morning time. Jan, what web site did you get info on about the meeting. I did not pay to be on remedy MD. Is that where you found it. Actually a tuesday is a better time and day anyway. Have a great day and enjoy your beautiful garden. Have a save trip to the doc with your hubby. Sky, you too be careful on the road. So glad to hear you are feeling so much better. It hardly seems like a week already. Yesterday was the first time I actually could eat half of a sandwich without getting sick. Usually I have to toast the bread, but yesterday I ate one slice of rye bread with chicken, ham)deli) and tomatoes and it tasted wonderful. And no problems. For supper I had just protein and yogurt. Jan Good Morning, I got a post from Wayne early this morning. He was commenting on a post I did a couple of days ago. But he didnt say how he was doing. I sure do miss him when he's not on the boards. I think maybe we need to send out a search and resuce team for him. lol Yes, it is gonna be a hot one today. I got a few thing in my yard to finish and then I get to start adding water to my pool. DH has a dr's appt @ 3pm today. So that about sums up my plans for the day. I think I will sit in the pool as it fills. lol Can you believe it, It is almost the 3rd week in June already. Man where does time go?? Cant wait to finally meet you at the meeting also. You'll love it I am sure cuase it isnt like oh gosh I have to sit for 2 hours thro a boring meeting. It's like Yea I get to spend 2 hours with friends. Jan, im still a little sick today but up and around! i couldnt take any of my meds for the last 2 days so i hope my sugar isnt high , i havent ate either so it shouldnt be. I emailed melissa today and asked who is driving lol . also my surgery date is aug 28 and have to loose 35 lbs , and i do live with my parrents they are good to me i used to be out on my own till i got so big and sick so they help me alot , its my computer in my room my mom also has one in here room but we have only this one connected to the net so we use her email, and we have satalite internet and we hate their mail so we use yahoo lol cant wit to see you all in springfeild getting off here pray for me to loose the weight love ben
