Michele Ess: Dont have any good ideas of what to ask Dr. H. Im sure you know most all there is about this surgery. You could ask if he has had any deaths if that is what you are worried about. He only does one surgery a day I know that. and i think only monday thru thursday. He explains the surgery pretty good to you and asks you some questions and then wants to know if you have any. Make a list and take it with you if you cant remember like me. Sky: Glad you are feeling some better each day.And learning you pouch has a mind of its own. So one of your new rules is dont drink and lay down right away huh. Wonder if that affects everyone like that? We are all pulling for you and hope to hear some good things before long. I know that Linda and colette are going to sedalia meeting. Linda Smith:Well did the mammogram go smashingly well? A hint of a joke there. I bet your new hair do looks pretty. Colette: Your house will be so pretty with all of its new windows. Hey your idea of a bed and breakfast for weightloss patients coming in from out of town sounds like a really good idea. Maybe something to bring up to Dr. H. It wouldnt even have to be anything as fancy as that. Could just be a house that is rented with bedrooms that we could stay in. Keys to front door and keys to bedroom picked up at office or something. We the patients paying a nominal fee to stay there. Sounds like a winning idea. Any time you want to come down to Springfield to a meeting to meet everyone You can stay with me for sure . Melissa. Wasnt that an amazing wow moment to be able to get behind your cars wheel? I dont mind thunder storms but I dont like them when they have a lot of wind with them. I have never been in a tornado but it just scares me. Lia: Sounds like you would do well on a farm or a petting Zoo. Was wondering if you have called Springfield yet to see how close they are to getting their COE. Brenda: Well arent you the lucky one about having all those clothes down to size 16 but you may almost bypass some of those sizes like weekly almost. Hope after surgery you get down to the 16s so fast you are wondering what you will do next. Yes I know about fibro. it isnt any fun either is it. Weight loss probably wont cure that either but it sure cant hurt. You know looking for a support group over in your area are there not any weight loss surgeons at any of the hospitals in that area? If there is then there should be a support group. check across state lines too. Contact OH main office and see if they know of one. Craig : I am so glad that the eye doctor had some fairly good news about your eyes. and saying that weight loss might help them. wow. never thought of it helping eyes too. I cant wait untill you have your surgery and we can see the incrediable shrinking Craig show. You made me think about one of my favorite childhood memories about tomatoes and eating in the garden. My mom use to fry up a big big skillet of thick bacon almost ever morning for breakfast and make a big pan of biscuits. There were 6 of us kids. The left over biscuits and bacon were put on a platter and put in the oven and when lunch time came you came in and got a cold biscuit and piece of cold , most of the time greasy bacon and put it in the biscuit then went out into the garden and got a green onion and tomato and that was lunch. Was so good I still remember those taste and flavors . Isnt memories funny. See you all tomorrow. Jan

So I thought I would ask you how are your flower beds doing?? Did you get the 2 news ones done like you wanted to do?? How is your trailor coming along? Here it is June 7th already and before you know it August 14th will be knocking on your door. Thank you for all that you do here on the board. We really love you alot!!! Well thank you very much Melissa. It is nice to be appreciated. No i still havent gotten those flower beds done. Hope to get it done today but I can only do so much at a time and then when it gets hot there goes that. Dont like much on them. Just the digging part now I think i have all the grass roots out. That stupid Johnson grass with all of its runners yuck. you think you have it all and there it pops up again. We sold our classic car the other day made a profit of 5 times what we paid for it . The guy that bought it is suppose to come pick it up today. I hate to get rid of it ,it is really pretty white convertable with red interior. 75 pontiac grandville. but we dont have the money to completly restore it and it deserves that. It is in really really good shape now but needs some stuff done. We have driven it lots of times and love the feel of it. Like floating on air. and so much room wow. That is about the extent of what I have planned today. After the guy brings me all that money i will take it to the bank and we may go to Lowes lol. We are still working on the trailer that we are using as a guest house but should have it done soon. It is going to be sort of cute I think when we get it all done. Im making it real cottage style with white enamaled cabinets, lacy curtains, patchwork bedspreads that sort of thing. Anxious to see you all at the meeting next week too. I told Benny to get in touch with you since you both live in Joplin maybe you could share gas sometimes. Jan

Hairdo looks great and lunch with hubby was wonderful. However, the mammogram was painful. Would you believe the gal doing the mammogram said she had never torn anyone's skin under their boobs until I came along! LOL What a time to decide to do something like that! She really tore my skin terribly. Otherwise, all is well in the Smithton area. I'm getting ready to go exercise at Curves! I really hate to exercise, but I make myself for the good of the body! I'll continue to go and thank goodness it's only 30 minutes. Have a great day! Linda

Good morning, What a beautiful morning after the rain last evening. Have the guys here putting on a new front door and screen on patio door. House is going to look different. It was in need of repair. I think the idea of bed and breakfast would be great in Sedalia. Dont really want to get docs involved unless he would like to be the investor and I would manage it. LOL It would not have to be fancy but equipped for WLS needs. Soft toilet paper!!!!! LOL glad to hear you got some extra money from your car Jan. Do you just have Medicare or do you also have a supplemental policy. I hope we are not on vacation when you have surgery so I can come see you. We have not made the plans yet but we are going to take off for 3 weeks and head northwest. But my hubby has to have a cataract removed also. dont know how this will all work out. I hope everyone has a great day. I am off work till the 14th. So nice!! Colette

I don't know if I'm lucky, maybe I was just living in the fanstasy world that I thought I would lose enough weight sometime in my life to wear them. But I pray after WLS I'll be the one to have the last laugh. I don't know of any WL surgeons in close proximity except St. Louis and that's a 2 hour drive from here. Maybe after WLS it won't hurt me to sit in the car for a long drive like it does now.
