Eye Doctor Appt Results!!

I had my appt today for my eyes...I went through alot of test...My left eye is a little worse than two years ago but nothing major...my right ok is ok not much change at all..there was a bubble of cataract in my right eye but nothing he said I should be concerned about right now...he adviced me to get my blook sugar checked even though im hypoglcemic but he said sometimes that can have an affect on the eyes too....He said once I have my WLS my eyes should improve some..This I didnt know ..but he adviced me that yes your weight can have a great affect on your eyes and just not from hight blood sugar, but from blood pressure etc. lots of things....Well after my surgery in July he suggested I get new glasses with trifocals for when iam on the computer especially...I really want to have lest stress on them as much as possible...Over the last few years and months Ive had an extreme about of stress on my whole body with worrying about my health.. I cannot wait to get this done and on the road to losing weight and a recovery. Craig so glad to hear that your eyes were not as bad as you thought , and yes i cant hardly wait for wls either lol its like time is creeping and i havent got a surgery date yet , but DR H said it will be in august sometime so maybe after lindas , cause i went the next wensday after her consotation so who knows

Craig I am so glad to know that your eyes are not as bad as you was thinking. Who would of thought that being overweight in general would put strain on your eyes?? Craig, Sounds as if you got fairly good results from your testing. We always hold you up in prayer and know you pray for us too. This board is such a blessing. I have learned so much and have been supported in my quest for patience - I'm naturally a very impatient person and am really having to let go and let God and that is a really good lesson for me. I trust Him to provide the insurance approval and surgery in His good timing. Praise God. Lovely Lana
