Elizabeth is there anything that any of us can help you with? Dont hesitate to ask. Sometimes it seems like when things happen that they just keep happening but most of the time it is because we never dealt with the stuff when it came along the first time . Does that make sense? Just know we all love you and will help you in any way possible .Call on us. Jan

Jan... Thanks for the offer of help... right now all I really need are prayers... briefly here is a synopsis of what has transpired in the last two weeks... I don't see how any of this was avoidable by Mike or I... it just happened.... which totally sucks dirty gym socks right now! Flood in storage room, ho****er heater shot craps as did refrigerator (all within 24 hours of each other).... Blazer in and out of shop for repairs... very good mechanic has problems getting part in... holds up repairs for over 1 week.. we are now down to only 1 vehicle and with a 1 way commute to 40+ miles daily minimum... that adds up to MUCHO gas.... in and out in and out... finally get vehicle back and normally good mechanic leaves seal out of gas tank (when he put in new gas fuel pump) ....so what happens? I find this out when filling up the tank as I pumped 5+ gallons of gas onto the ground UNDER the blazer while it was running (which I couldn't shut it off as the mechanic's helper left the doors open while working on it and ran down the battery!)... I was on the other side of the Blazer washing the windows and heard the ga****ting the ground.. and no it wasn't coming out of the fill pipe...it was coming out of the gas tank where the seal wasn't sealed! Therefore the shut off didn't work for the gas pump... you have NEVER seen a lady ran as fast as I did ... down to the mechanics with gas spilling out behind me AS I drive.... he has the Blazer AGAIN for another week... down to one vehicle again... a week with mucho appts. in OTHER towns and juggling this around work and the last week of school. HAVE YOU GOT A HEADACHE YET FROM READING? *LOL* Normally my wonderful husband that NEVER makes an error in the checkbook MADE an error... not a little one either... a big whopping one... to the tune of 460.00!.. put that with all the repair bills.... OUCH... Blazer BACK in shop again... still can't find the reason for the dead miss in the engine.. we have already spent almost 1200.00 on it and it is sucking the gas even worse due to the "miss"... means MORE money for gas which I don't have right now.... Left knee is totally po'ed... nothing I can do to alleviate the problem.. I can barely walk...Knee replacement is on tap for June 29th!!!!! still trying to clean up from the flood ... oops forgot to say that the loaner fridge (we still don't have ours back from the shop) is in the lower garage... (they couldn't get it in the house as they didn't have the right tools to take off the handles..) so to use my fridge I have to go clean to the end of the house and down stairs to the garage to get to it.. remember I can barely walk ....*LOL*.... Also dealing with a HORRIBLE legal snafu with a prosecutor in a neighboring county that is currently trying to prosecute me over something totally stupid.... regarding returned rental band instruments that the store owner HAS... but they say I still have (I have the receipts proving this)... mind you I have paid out hundreds of dollars on this one and it still isn't resolved... not even figuring the time I have had to take off from work to tend to this (and I kept getting b*&^% at from work because I have to leave work...) it is court ...I'm not out shopping go figure????? All of this is just the TIP of the iceberg right now.... just the tip. I have sat down and actually laughed... I have NEVER had this much BS happen in such a short period of time... never.... The only saving grace is that there is someone out there that ISN'T having to deal with BS right now... cause' it is knocking on MY door at this time... but I'm telling you... it is stretching me mighty thin right now.... but I'm hanging in there... Elizabeth~

Jan, I'm here--sort of. I have been reading the board lately, but I haven't been posting a lot. Today I am on clear liquids all day, because I am having a colonoscopy tomorow. I figure my staff will ask me to leave work by about 2:00, since I will be crabby because I can't eat anything. When I was on clear liquids after the surgery, I was at home. This is a first for all of us. Oh well. It's only one day. I hope you find everybody else. We're all out here somewhere. Linda

Nana is the scope just routine or is there a problem? Either way it isnt too bad of a thing. Hang in there and let us know the results. Mine i had a few months ago was easy and no problems found. Post more often Love to hear from you. Jan

Jan, The scope is routine. My doctor said I didn't have to do it right away. I told her to give me the order, or I would never get it done. I'm not worried about the scope--it's the food free day that's bugging me. No I am not hungry, but I know I can't eat; so I want to. I will try to be better about posting. It seems like lately I have been feeling kind of whiny, so I thought I would spare all of you that. I e-mailed my psychologist, and she cautioned me about being reclusive. She said get out there and contract my WLS friends and my cancer support group. I am working on that. Linda
