I know I don't post on here very much, but I do try to read every post from everyone. I guess I'm kinda like the 2 new people that said they were lurking around. I'm not much of a talker but I enjoy reading what everyone else says I am counting down the days until my surgery and I pray I will not have sweet cravings! I do love ice cream and I am going to miss it But as the quote says ; "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" I pray God will help to remember that after my surgery!

Brenda, You might have sweet cravings, but the good news is there are sweet things you can eat to take care of that. If you have the cravings now, you will probably have them after surgery. My surgeon reminds us regularly he didn't operate on our brains only our GI tract. Even better than skinny feels, is how healthy feels. My BP is normal for the first time in 15 years without medication. I am off my CPAP machine too. What a relief all of that is. I can garden without feeling like I am going to die right there. I 'm glad you have a surgery date. It may seem a long way off, but you will be surprised how fast it will arrive. I can't believe I am 10 months out. It seems like yesterday that I was doing the countdown. I have been negligent about posting lately, but I am trying to mend my ways. Linda
