I'm all paid...

I paid Dr H. at my appointment on May 24th for the surgery and today, I paid the hospital and the anes. Now, all I'm waiting for is my surgery appointment. I am so excited I can't hardly stand it. The open RNY is $1250.00 higher than the lap, but I managed to get it together and everybody paid! Hopefully, I'll get a call on Tuesday with a date for surgery! I just needed to tell somebody the great news. I went to Curves today and joined. I'm starting my exercise program Tuesday a.m. They recommend at least 3 times per week. I made myself a promise to do everything that Dr. H. said to do to help me get rid of the weight and surely with the surgery and the exercise it will come off and stay off. I realize it's a whole new way of life, but I'm willing to do it. It sure is better than the alternative--death! Hope you all have a great holiday weekend. Talk to ya next week! Linda

wow that is a lot of money to have to come up with but what better investment that YOU!!! You should be able to get your surgery soon since you are cash and all paid up. Yeah it is a change of living and we have to make that commitment to change the way we do things are it is a total waste of money, time and effort. Jan
