Tomorrow is my Psyche eval. appt.

I go to DR Young here in joplin to get my evaluation they said it would take about 3 hours so not lookin forward to the log dr visit lol but have to do it , please keep me in your prayers im nervious about the surgery and scared, since ive never had any surgery i dont know what its going to be like but i know it will be worth it.then i go to DR Hornbostel on the 31st of this month for a consoltation , i cant wait , hope everything goes ok.. First good luck on the psych eval . There isnt much to it. It is a piece of cake. Just talking and doing some silly test. Ink blot ,what they look like to you. I told him they all looked like somebody spilled the ink on some paper lol No just kidding. You will be fine during surgery and if you werent scared and worried about it I would think there was someting wrong with you. All you can do is know that we have picked a good doctor. That he knows what he is doing. and that we are prayed up with our God. I figure it this way. it is a win win situation. If I come out a live after surgery then i win because I will have a better life. and if I die after surgery I win because I know where Im going and will have a better life. AMEN? No I havent heard anythig from them about a date yet. I emailed Dena last friday and She said they were wating for the Hospital to tell them that they had gotten approval from Medicare to set up my surgery date. She said she hopes it will be this week that she can call me. So that means that medicare has given the doctor approval and they sent it over to the hospital for them to get approval from medicare for their part. So all i can do is wait. It is taking mine longer than Craigs did dont know why but I have faith that it will all work out. Jan

Hey Jan I just heard from Dr. Hornbostal office and they gave me a surgery date of Aug. 17th. I know we both went in to see Doc for our evals the same day so I bet you will be hearing from then soon! I'm kinda wondering why I haven't had to go for psyche exam, maybe they already know I ain't quite right Hope you hear something soon! Brenda
