Pain is good...
I am SOOOO sore today. I finally joined a gym and started working out yesterday. I diden't go that hard but it has been so long since I've worked out that it left my upper arms and shoulders very sore. I am going to work out Mon, Tues and Wed at 6:00am every week. Hopefully this will jump start my weight loss and make me more successful in the end. I can't believe what a Godsend this surgery has been. I feel so much better already and I am only down 80 pounds, I can't wait to see how I am at -150 or 200. You know when you are a morbidly obese person you know there are things you can't do but it doesn't really hit home how much you miss in life until you can start doing them again. Since my surgery I have been able to go shopping, go walking with my family, play catch with my sons, started working out and felt tons better. Everyone who has had the surgery know what I mean and for those of you that are still waiting you will see. Remember today to do something nice for yourself and for someone else. Have a good Tuesday.
Wayne
good morning Wayne,
Glad to see you online. Great news about your joining a gym. I know what you feel like with 80 pounds off. One does not realize how weight can keep us from doing things. This is the first year in a long time that I can weed and my belly does not get in the way. I feel fantastic and am enjoying doing things too. My problem now is I go from morning to night and never stop. LOL. Got to learn that I need to slow down a bit and do some relax time. Glad to see you on. I normally work on Tuesday but my classes got cancelled today due to sick students. Have a great day. Colette
Hey Wayne so good to see you online. Everyone was wondering where you were.
Glad you are going to start the exercise. It will help boost that weight loss for sure.
Colette so now you are off today what are you going to do.
I am continuing to work in the guest house today. and got to get hubby over to finish painting because on Thursday he goes in for an epidural i think of cortozone in his back between L4 an L5 to help ease his pain some. They said a series of 3 shots will be given and it should last him for about a year. But after he has this done he isnt suppose to do much at all for a couple of days. So need to get the painting out of him today and tomorrow. LOL
I am about thru with the scrubbing. His brother stayed in there for about 6 months and i dont think he ever cleaned anything. The stove and ref were absolutly horrible. Yuck. I hate housework so that is why I try to keep my stuff clean by doing a little each day and then i dont have to do big major clean up days. I have been trying for 2 years now to teach that to my great neice but she doesnt seem to get the concept. She thinks if it isnt filty why clean it lol I tell her clean it so it doesnt get filty. But she doesnt think that makes sense and maybe it doesnt lol
Well got to go do my thing Jan

Jan,
I am working in flowers awhile, and then clean basement as we had main water valve break on sunday and water all over. Lucky we had most everything up on tables. then I am packing 3 boxes of clothes for my daughter, who will be here in 2 weeks and she is having surgery also for wls. No date yet, so she will have a lot of jeans and tops and good clothes to fit into. Have a good day. I am off today but they called and now want me to work wed, thurs, fri. Colette
You're right, Wayne. Pain is good in that context. LOL
My husband and I closed on our home a couple of weeks ago and our driveway is 1/10 of a mile long, one way is all uphill, so I've been walking it there and back. Boring to do ten times for two miles, but worth it because a full mile is uphill. But I was sooo sore in my butt and legs. Plus we have stairs now that we didn't have before.
80 lbs is great, Wayne. You're awesome. Congrats on joining the gym. It's tough but I know it'll pay off for you.
Hugs and prayers

Hey Tracy I have been wondering where you have been. Are you hiding away writing? Did I miss the book signing in Springfield? I meant to write it down on my calendar and didnt do it. . If it hasnt happened yet let me know. I really wanted to get to that. I havent had my surgery yet . Just waiting on the Doctor to call me and tell me when. Talk to you later. Jan
