Good Morning Oh what a beatiful morning. Oh what a beatiful day. I got a wonderful feeling. Everythings going my way (not). No you can see why I never made it to American Idol. It looks like we gonna have another beatiful day here today in Missouri. So what is everyones plans for today or this weekend?? I am gonna finish my house. I cleaned my living room and dining room yesterday high and low. Today I wanna do my kitchen and computer room maybe bathroom if I get peppy enough. I have a busy next week. I leave for Columbia on Tuesday, see my Dr. on Wed and drive down to Arkansas afterwards. Wedding on Thursday and to my parents that evening, Friday run my Mother around taken care of business and then come home. So it will be nice to come home to a clean house. Plus I am getting my nephew for approx 2 months this summer. He will be coming back home with me on Friday. They guys are coming to work on my garage roof today. Yea finally now maybe DH wont freak out when it rains. lol Okay I am rammbled enough. I just wanted to say Good Morning and I hope you all have a wonderful day. Love ya Melissa P.S. oh my gosh girl are you going to have time to blink . How old is the nephew. and why is he coming to you for 2 months. That seems like a long time for a visit. Yes it is an absolutly beautiful day. I just posted that in another post this morning. Glad you are getting your garage roof fixed. Did one of the storms do the damage? I think we are going fishing today maybe. Sometimes it is hard to decide what to do when you are retired lol. Jan

Jan Yes and No, I believe that it was just an old roof and proabley had alot of wear and tear to it. I am sure all the rain didnt help matters. My nephew is around 10 yrs old. He is actually my 2nd cousins son. But he calls me Aunt Meme so I call him my nephew. I always get kids durning the summer. Since Terry & I dont have kids of our own we usually get the neices and nephews for awhile durning the summer. 2 yrs ago before I got really sick I had 5 of them for almost 2 months. Yeeeeeeeeee!!! I love it!!! Fishing sounds so wonderful. Love Melissa

Hi Melissa. Girl you are busy!!! Not too much going on here. The only things I know for sure are that Cody and I are going to see that new movie Over The Hedge tonight and he has a ballgame tomorrow morning. We are preparing for our family reunion next weekend. This will be the first year we've held it at our house. We usually reserve a pavilion at the lake but we have a huge yard this year and it's easier than driving 30 to the lake. We need to do something about all the ants in our yard, there are ant hills everywhere. Does anyone know what you can put out on the lawn to get rid of ants? Seven dust or something? We put our pool up last weekend and I spent a few hours out there with my nephews today. Thankfully it's just an easy set pool and I'm tall enough that I can just throw my leg over the side to get in and out, cuz I am way too fat for them flimsy ladders. I just finished all of my finals, I smiled like an idiot for 2 days cuz I was finally FREE!! At least until next semester...lol I like to do a lot of decorative painting and I cut almost all of my own wood pieces for my projects but these last few months I haven't been able to paint at all because of my classes. Soooo, I sat down last night and went thru every pattern book I have and every website I know of and just looked for project ideas. I've found quite a few and I can't wait to get started, I just hope that I can still remember how..lol My sister went to Cape Girardeaux yesterday and called me to tell me that she got me a birthday present. I said "What? My birthday isn't until AUGUST!" Well, some years ago I stumbled across some artwork of fairies by an artist named Amy Brown, at the time not many people had seen her work but I LOVED it. Now her stuff is gaining in popularity, you can buy all sorts of merchandise with her fairies on it. Anyway, she bought me a steering wheel cover and a bookmark with her fairies on it. I was soooo excited! Ok, I just realized how long this has gotten...lol..sorry everyone! You guys have a great weekend, Lia
