has anyone had any luck having medicare or medicaid cover their tummy tuck/pannilectomy? i just thought i'd ask around before i started working on that myself. i am in major need of this as i am having trouble with my back and well my whole body isn't able to hold up all that extra skin. does that make sense? i feel like i walk a little hunched over because my tummy skin weighs me down. i'm 5'8" and currently weigh 140 pounds and probably 5-10 pounds of that is tummy skin. i used to weigh 350 so you can imagine how much skin there is left. i appreciate any info anyone has! thanks in advance!!

I have heard that medicare will pay for it if there is enough documentation of rashes and skin breakdown and with orthopedics doctor maybe saying that is what is causing back problems. That is just what I have heard, oh yeah dont ever call it a tumy tuck when addressing medicare. it is a pannilectomy only. lol Jan
