Dr. Eagon in St. Louis

Wondering if there is anyone out there that had their RNY done by Dr. Eagon and if so what did you like about him? Please tell me all the good and bad if any.

Dr Eagon did my surgery in December. I loved everything about Dr Eagon and his staff. The worst part about having him do my RnY is having to stay at Barnes Jewish Hospital. While Dr Eagon is the best the hospital and staff left a LOT to be desired. I would use Dr Eagon again if I needed any more surgeries. I trust him with my life. Hope this helps. Wayne

I feel Dr. Eagon helped me through a very difficult surgery. I was scheduled for a lap RNY but due to adhesions it turned into an open RNY lasting around 10 hours. I was on a vent over night & had blood transfusions. I had many regrets at first but now everything is great. The care at BJH is not good in my opinion. If you can have a family member or friend stay with you at first things might go better. Best of luck! Kathy C. HW=350 PRE-op=330 2-day=194
