Beautiful Saturday

Everyone must be out and about today. I have been outside for most of the day, planting flowers and roses and just generally digging in the dirt. What does everyone have planned for tomorrow ,Mothers Day, My mom has passed on but I am going to see both of my girls. Spend a little time with them. My son is busy with his wife and mother in law I guess. I did get a mothers Day card from them tho. Just wanted to wish eveyone that is a mother Happy Mothers Day ...Jan

Happy mothers day to you too, Jan. I just got home from work, did not dig in the dirt today. Took care of patients instead. Going to my daughters in Lee Summitt tomorrow. Got cards from my other 2 girls, and i am sure the boys will call. Wish my children would all be closer to home instead of in 6 dofferemt states but that is what happens when your hubby is a minister and you move about every 7 years. Eventually the kids meet their significant others and soon they settle there. But I have so many blessings. So have a Happy Mothers day. Colette

Jan Hello, It sure was a pretty day to be outside. I have been in and out all day long. Not doing to much of anything. Since I am not a mother (yet) I will be calling my mother and wishing her a Happy Mother's Day. My hubby lost his Mother at the age of 6. So all we have is his Father. I am hoping to get to the mall tommorow to GNC for some of my protein drinks. I hope you all have a wonderful Mother's Day!!! Love Melissa

We have an air show this weekend at our local airport. It's a rural airport that is probably used only for crop dusters and such..lol..so I have no idea how they manage to get air shows to come here. Everyone from our town and the surrounding areas come to the show and the family loves it. The only downside is that I live about a 1/2 mile from the airport so the whole week before the show and all weekend we have jets flying over our house non-stop...lol...by the end of the week you get used to it so it's not as bad and my nephews just love it. We got our pool up this weekend, it's one of those easy-set pools that have the top ring that you blow up. We're filling it up now but it's usually too cold to swim in for a few days. So, next weekend, that's where I'll be...lol Hope everyone had a great weekend, Lia
