Topic: What a year it's been!!
Today is my surgiversary, the one year anniversary of my rebirth.
And it has been a rebirth! I am less than half the person I was, LOL, and I can do things I never thought I'd be able to do.
Yesterday I did 35 minutes on the elliptical, I walked for 30 minutes around the walking paths at work, and then went for a 3 1/2 mile hike in the evening. A year ago I could barely walk around the block!! (Considering I was carrying an extra 155 lbs. last year I'm actually amazed I could do that.) It wasn't until last night when I got home that I realized how different my life is now from what it was before--how much wider my horizons are. Those extra 155 lbs were so limiting, placing boundaries on my life that are now gone.
I am very grateful for my surgery, and I'm really grateful for the wonderful people I've met along this journey--especially here and in the SOTR Coffee group. You are all amazing! Thank you!

Paul- Great to see you again... This is a life change and items from our past tend to creep back in... If we can find a way to support incourage each other we can fight through the old urges. You look great!!! Keep working on the fundamentals ( Mentals)

Made my minus 50! Even though I have a long ways to go, I feel sooooo much better than I did 50 pounds ago. I've never lost more than 50 on any plan before (and had never been this big) so I am looking forward to moving onward. Love my sleeve!!!
