Thanks Kelly! I promise I will.
Darla - My sister was dx'd with breast cancer 6 yrs ago and my Mom has terminal pancreatic cancer, so I promise I will NOT skip anything! It was for this reason I knew to go in and be seen as soon as I saw the blood in my urine. Dad has done very well, it will be more of a nusiance than anything. Still getting my head around it. But I will be very proactive in making sure nothing slips past the goalie!

Tess,
While ANY cancer diagnosis is no good, I personally believe that your is a highly treatable, manageable form. Like your dad, I have a dear friend who was diagnosed with bladder cancer probably over 10 years ago - and she's still as feisty as ever, not about to let it beat her down. Yes, she's had to have several procedures to remove new tumors, but if I'm not mistaken, she's been able to have them on an out-patient basis.
This same woman was diagnosed with lung cancer several years ago - the deal is, you have to be diligent with your follow up. Don't skip any appointments, stay ahead of the monster. June (my friend) is as full of **** and vinegar as ever, and I truly believe that works in her favor!
Will send up a prayer for you to be as fortunate with your dx as my June has been. And CONGRATS on the PS!

My nephew deployed to Kuwait today - once there, he will know if he is going to Iraq or Afghanistan. Please keep him and our family in your thoughts, prayers and chicken swinging for his safe return. He is married to Samantha and they are expecting their first baby, a daughter who will named Emilynn, in September. They are a young couple and he knew going into this that he may be deployed. We will stand united as a family and stay strong.
Please remember to thank a soldier when you see them, they risk their lives for us to have the freedom we have. We may not agree with the War, but we MUST support or men and women that are sent there!
Thanks and I will keep you updated as this very long year unfolds. I cannot post to Facebook yet, as they leave today and we cannot release that information and possible put them in harms way. Once they have arrived, I will be posting more info on my Facebook page for those of you who are my friend there!!
Thanks again - Live, Love and Laugh!!!

Tess,
That is a bummer, and as I said in our conversations on FB I'm here for you and if there's anything I can do just let me know....I'm glad they caught it early, and hopefully when they re-check you it won't be back...
Hang in there.....Hugs, Kelly

You'll do great! You're probably in right now. Hope your recovery is smooth. Just wait until you start seeing results!!!
Topic: RE: No More Plus Sizes!!!!
A huge congratulations! I remember I kept going to the Plus Sized clothing area long after I no longer needed to be there because I couldn't get my mind around it! I was a snug 24 and now shop for 2 or 4's!
Keep up the great work!

Topic: Was dx'd with bladder cancer.
Got bad news last week. Was dx'd with bladder cancer. I already had the surgery to remove the small tumor inside my bladder, so that part is done. I just have to be rescoped again in 3 months. My Dad was dx'd with it 6 yrs ago. It's come back 3 times and he's done chemo twice. It comes back but it is treatable so at least we have some experience and knowledge on our side. It helps a lot.
Anyway, just checkin in. Doing well, still maintaining my 155 lb loss. Had my TT, BL and BA late April, finally feeling pretty normal. The TT was really painful, but the results are very nice!
