I see that #2 is part of the fall WLS Gala. I don't find any info on how to register on the information website. Is that info available yet?

Marsha, Two things;
1. Have you asked this on the plastics forum? They might be able to help you over there.
2. "The Weight Loss Journey - a day of education and an evening of celebration for clinical providers and patients on Saturday, Oct. 8 has a session on body contouring and plastic surgery given by Sam Economu, MD." Might be worth checking out.

Topic: Getting back on track...
Hi everyone... It's been awhile since I've posted but I'm looking for some help in getting back on track with my weight loss... I had my surgery about 4 1/2 years ago and lost 140 pounds. I started out at over 350 pounds so still had a ways to go but felt great after losing that much weight... Some things happened in my life and I ended up gaining back 40 pounds of the weight I had lost. I am now struggling to get that 40 pounds off, plus at least 40 more... I'm not looking for answers... I know what I need to do to... I guess I'm just looking for support and accountability... I am going to be posting my Weight and Activity (and anything else I feel is relevant to helping me reach my weight loss goal) so I hope you don't get sick of hearing from me and if anyone else wants to join me that would be great... So, here are my "stats" for today...
Weight: 240
Activity: Wii Fit 20 minutes/Walk 20 minutes
Thanks for the support!

The plastic surgeon I went to see would only do 2 sugeries at once, she said anymore than that is not safe, etc.....All's I really want done in my tummy which I got a quote and it was $6500.....
I've heard people getting a TT and boobs done, but that's it....Vanish on here just had that done, hopefully she will chime in here, and Stephanie had her arms and boobs done all at once.....
Good luck....

I got plastic surgery done and I got a lot done at once. he did a little on a lot of stuff and I was not happy because the results were not as good. I tried to save money and now I still have to go back and have it all done again. Break it up into 2 surgeries and you will be much happier with the results.
Topic: plastic surgery question
I am just curious to who has had plastic surgery to remove skin, and what not. I would like to get a tummy tuck, boob job, arms, and butt........ I would like to do it all at once so I don't have to take time off everytime I want something done.
I would like to know who has had stuff done, about how much you had to pay, and how long it took you to recover?
If you don't want to write on here you can send me a PM.
I would also like to know if you are happy with your results?
I still want to lose about 20 lbs before I do anything. I am thinking this a winter thing......
Any info you have to share would be great.......
Thanks,
Marsha

Topic: RE: Pregnancy after Duodenal Switch
If you haven't already, I would post this in the DS forum, there are several DS moms who periodically post there, and they seem to be doing well. From what I understand, there are vitamin considerations, but it is not impossible to have a pregnancy after the DS. Also, there are several post-DS moms on the duodenalswitch.com forums: http://www.duodenalswitch.com/forum/ and a few kicking around in the pregnancy after WLS forum: http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/postop_pregnancy/
