 Welcome,

There is a group of people trying to restart the Maple Grove coffee, I recommend you link up with them. Start reconnecting and sharing our life situations.

I am 18 months out todsy. My surgeon (as well as myself) was a bit discouraged by my progress. I was labled as "successful" by having lost more than 50% of excess weight. Problem was I had lost 75% by 10 months out and I went into reverse not continuing progress.

So my surgeon gave me a new prescription which I will convey here.

ADD 1 HOUR OF EXERCISE a DAY.           Burns calories and provides positive thinking endorfins.

There we go. No free lunch for me,  but hope, much hope that if I am mindful, I can be successful!

Hello!
I had Gastric Bypass almost 7 years ago...I feel myself slipping and thought I needed to reconnect with those in the same boat as me, to get me back on track! I am looking forward to getting to know you all!

I agree, I truly think exercise is the key.  Believe me, I am NOT a fan of exercise; I was never an athlete as a kid, I was always the last one picked for the team, yada yada.  I'm sure many of you know that feeling.

I can't say that I love getting out and exercising now, although the running is starting to grow on me.  But more important is the way I feel when I am done exercising--stronger, leaner, healthier.  I think that's what I'm getting addicted to.

If exercise is my cross-addiction, that can't be all bad.

I skipped several unknown brands and bought EAS products. I know they are very high quality.

I have to get back on the exercise trail. I think it is one of the keys to long term success. A hobby, yep that is what I need. Congrats on your continued success!!  I am now 18 months out. My OH my how time flies. I have regained a bit overall and will be chatting with my surgeon tomorrow. I am sure to have a renewed commitment.
