Wow, Jessica, that is really cool.  Where in Europe are you going?  I've only been once, I'd love to go again.

Starting weight:  298.4
Last week:  138.4
This week: 137.7
This week:  Loss of 0.7 lbs

I had a great week with my training.  Yesterday I ran 6 miles for the first time EVER, and I feel better now that I will be able to finish my 10K race in two weeks.  I even did it at a better pace than I thought I'd be able to do, and I wasn't feeling pushed during the run.  Sure was stiff and sore afterward, though!

Not too sore to ride my bicycle 12 miles this morning, tho.  It sure was a beautiful day to get out and ride.  Hope everyone has a wonderful Labor Day!

Yep, like landings on a long stair. While your bidy is adjusting, you may find that even with the same weight, there are other changes. Maybe a belt notch, measurement change in the thigh or arm..... Stay on track and don't let doubts creap in.

Sooner or later we all find that this is a  challenging, lifelong process. I made several slips along the way and am paying for it, but I think that embracing the realities of life is so much better than just rolling over and giving up. Better to stop it at four instead of forty!

Prescription for Julie: Burnsville Panera for you this Saturday. Come and encourage us and be encouraged by our latest addition to the group. Love to see you.

MaryMargaret, love your new avatar picture.

I'm glad to hear she is doing well.  Good thing she has someone who knows the ropes to take care of her!  See you at coffee!

So great that you are addressing your concern quickly. I would love, love, love to see you at coffee sometime. How is your Mom? Give her my regards, will you?

Peace,

MM
