Welcome!
I am from South St. Paul, MN - tomorrow is my 18 month surgiversary! I am officially down 153 lbs and LOVING life!
This is a great forum, just been really slow, most of us are on Facebook more these days. You can look me up there under kelly robbins-wagner if you use Facebook! I can get you added to some of the groups we have there! They are set to private so not everyone can see, some in the groups do not share that they had surgery.
Welcome to the Loser's bench and hope to talk more!

Topic: i found you!
Wow, took me longer than I thought to find a Minnesota forum on here.
My name is Amy and I had my surgery on the 6th in park rapids with Dr. Smith. I'm doing good so far. My first post op is today so I get to find out if I get some texture! Lol
Was wondering, where ya from? I'm from a blip in se otter tail county. If you send me a private message I can't reply for some stupid reason so I'm not ignoring you.
Thanks!
Amy

Topic: RE: Monday Morning--checking in!
I'm just checking in finally, too. I'm too sleepy to double check my stats from last week but finally broke my mini-stall and am now down 36 pounds in 7 weeks. I'm starting to struggle a little with my boring diet and have eaten a few things I shouldn't have. Apparently 2 oreos won't make me dump.
But all in all, I'm happy with a 36 pound loss. I'm hoping to get my head back on right and start expanding my food selections so I have more willpower to say no to the oreos.

I have been so busy that i'm just now checking in. Ooops!
Weight is same as last week so no change. I had a checkup with my PCP on Tuesday who hasn't seen me since my pre-op for surgery last December. Two things-1st...It's awesome that this is the first time i've had to see him in 10 months! He knows me quite well because I used to have to see him practically every month for years and years with all my issues. 2nd...He walks in and the first thing he says is "Wow! Your half the person you used to be. You look great!" I'm so fortunate to have a doctor who is very supportive in my decision to have this surgery. I love my tool !

Hi Kim
How are you doing. Long time no see, you should stop in for coffee one one of these Saturdays.

Topic: Anchor Tummy Tuck
Hi Friends,
I am trying to get information on people to have had the anchor tummy tuck. How was the breakdown between insurance and patient pay? My girlfriend is looking into it and it seems like insurance should be paying more. She had a $10,000 quote and insurance will cover $2,000. It is a plastic surgeon vs. WLS surgeon. Does that make a difference?
Thanks!

Great job Kim. I agree . Nutella is soooo good. I'm that way with Peanut butter. Too many people in my family like it and it is protein so it is here to stay. I try to limit myself to 1 tbls a day.
