Topic: For women who had RNY and are on HRT
I am wondering if anyone has had good luck with any hormone replacement therapy, preferably a natural treatment.  I currently use an estrogen patch, but am not getting the best results.  I can't take normal HRT because it's all time released, and that doesn't work when you've had RNY.

Thanks for posting the start of this thread, Paul, and thanks for the article.  We all have the tools and knowledge of what we need to do to stay on track, but sometimes our brains don't tell that to our emotions (or habits.)  I know when I am tired, it is much easier to just fall back into those habits I have relied on my whole life.  I'm trying to substitute exercise for eating, but some days it is too hard to pry myself out of bed.  This morning was particularly difficult, but I did it.

Prying myself out of bed for workouts does show on the scale:

Starting weight:  298.4
Last week:  140.9
This week: 139.3
This week:  loss of 1.6 lbs

The trend is back in the right direction--the hard part is that I want to eat more, so I have to exercise more, or ramp up the intensity.  Yesterday I ran my longest run yet--7 1/3 miles!  Today my knees are sore, but it was good.  I really feel stronger, and I love that feeling.

Good Morning Everyone... Just wondering if anyone uses or has used the Journey Bariatric Multiformula Melts in place of separate iron, calcium and multi-vitamins and what they think of them... Any input, good or bad, would be appreciated... Thanks, and have a GREAT day! ... Michelle

This is the third week I am up a pound and I am really struggling with my habits (I know I am not hungary but have a "legal food" snack anyway...) So here is a short article to help those in my situation  "

Topic: RE: An update on me
This weekend I actually can't do coffee since I have a birthday party for my daughter's best friend to bring her to at 9am.  I will however be at Eagan next week!

I believe Saturday coffee is at the Panera Bread in Burnsville Center at 8:30am, am I right?  We are usually there until 10 or 10:30am, so come anytime.

Glad to hear from you and that you are doing well!  Life does get in the way sometimes, doesn't it?  But make sure to make time for yourself.

Coffee this week is at Panera in the Burnsville Mall, I think.  Can you come?
