Topic: what protein shakes are the best
Can anyone help me out with some advice on protein shakes I'm on phase 2 I want to know what kind of protein shakes to drink my mom got me special k but there is 18 grams of sugar per serving I only took a few sips I think I'm might not be able to drink that kind cause of the sugar intake but if any one could let me know what kind to drink that would be great thanks

Topic: MHCP insurance timeframe
Hi, I have Minnesota Health Care Program as my insurance, just wondering if anyone else does, and how long approx it took to get an answer from them after the surgeons office submits.
I'm feeling anxious.

Topic: Any Recipe Ideas for the Holiday
Alrighty then, lets see how many healthy recipes we can jot down for the holidays!!!!!
I like to make my buffalo chicken dip.....
1/2 cup franks buffalo sauce
1 can chicken (drained)
1 block of cream cheese
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup ranch dressing
In pot put chicken and buffalo sauce heat till you see bubbles then add cream cheese keep stirring till it's melted then add cheese and ranch dressing put in crock pot and keep warm. Serve with assorted crackers, or celery
I love this recipe and I think I posted this last year as well. Not sure if it is healthy or not but if ya have the ****s the cheese may help you plug up and if you don't after the buffalo sauce you will have the ****s..............LOL

It's pretty hard to stay on track for ANY holiday, since they all seem to involve food and/or candy and treats.
So, I do allow myself a few (NOT highly recommended, especially for those of you who are fresh out of surgery!). The beauty of it is - when you just have a few treats spread out over all the parties and gatherings, they really do seem like TREATS! Whereas in the past, it was... see-how-much-you-can-cram-in-your-piehole-before-someone-notices-what-a-pig-you-are. Ya know?
Nope. I really do enjoy doing right by my WLS when it's especially difficult - makes me feel that much better about myself!
As a matter of fact, I was able to fit into my smallest pairs of jeans again this morning, after NOT fitting in them for probably close to a year! Oh, I'm sporting a muffin top, to be sure, but THEY FIT, DAMMIT!
YAY ME!
