Topic: RE: 5 Day Pouch Diet... Day 1
I would like to know what to do for that as well. I took some stuff to clean me out yesterday and not even 10 seconds after I swallowed I got so sick, I was sweating, shaking, then cold falling asleep, I went and sat on the toilet just incase then stumbled my way into my bedroom and layed down for an hour slept it off then I was ok. I only drank like 1/4 of the bottle, it was like 3 chugs and geesh never again.

Topic: 5 Day Pouch Diet... Day 1
Hello. It has been nearly 5 years since I had my weight loss surgery. I lost 148 pounds and although I have gained back 48 of those pounds, I have no regrets about having the surgery but I am having some difficulty getting back on track. I have decided that today I am going to start the 5 Day Pouch Diet. Does anyone who has done this before have any feedback, either positive or negative that they can share with me?... Anyone want to join me?... I will post my results for those who are interested.

I have felt bad about not checking in weekly with you guys but I am living life to the fullest and finding I don't get on the computer much these days. I had a WONDERFUL trip to Europe. I got to go to Germany, France and Portugal. Some things I noticed as the new me: Fit in airplane seat comfortably, did not have to turn sideways to get down the aisle in the airplanes, I walked 6-8 hours a day every day on my trip and didn't get tired, I was not self-conscious so I got to truly enjoy myself, and I climbed a 40-story spiral staircase - I was a bit winded but I would have never been able to accomplish that before. For the first time on a trip, I didn't have one headache. I can't believe how much things have changed for me. Looking back when I first had the surgery, those first few months were rough and it seemed like I wasn't going to figure out how to get all my protein in and drink my fluids and stay active. Now it's all a distant memory and now my fridge is always stocked with things that are not only good for me but my kids too. They have really acclimated to my new eating lifestyle and enjoy most of the things that I eat now. I can wrestle with my boys and we get out and do things now instead of sitting on the couch and watching t.v. as our entertainment. I am a much more happier and confident person. I have a new boyfriend and things are going pretty great. I absolutely know I made the right choice getting this surgery and would do it all over again in a heartbeat! It was the best thing in my life that I could have ever done for myself. I love me know! Thanks for all the support you all have given me over the past year and I want to wish you all the best in this new year and beyond! Here is a pic from today. My fashion is inspired from my trip to Europe. I am loving hats these days.

Interested to see how everyone's journey is going
541+ all time high
491 Lap Rny 1-12-11
313 50 weeks post op didn't eat well during the holidays, but I did drop 10 pounds since Xmas.
2011 was a great year! Prior to researching RNY on here and getting first hand testimonial's from Moose,Sally,Groucho, and the MB's on OH I thought WLS wasn't for me. Ya I dropped 75 pounds once pre wls, but put it back on in a quickness. So this is a amazing ride!
Highlights for 2011
had Lap RNY 1-12
able to fit in to "normal" seats everywhere
shop at regular stores good bye casual male and king size
no longer on the sidelines when everyone else is out busting a move on the dance floor
ran a 5k
learned how to mindfully eat and stay away from pop
able to be more active all the time
Things to improve for 2012
get to my first goal of 250 pounds
be better at getting to the gym on a regular schedule
be better at mindful eating in all situations

Topic: RE: wanting to start group in Hutchinson MN
Hi Marsha! I live in Gaylord and have been looking for a group nearby that meets consistently. Hutchinson would be great! Saturday mornings work the best for me but some weeknights may be do-able as well. Looking forward to meeting some new people in the new year!
