Vitiamine obsorbtion
I think I may have an issue with absorbing the vitamins ...should I be eating them with food or wait until drinking my water -then take them? I am beginning to think they may just be running right through me when i take them when drinking water. I am faithful to not drink for 30 minutes before eating and and then 45 minutes after I eat. So I don't drink when eating to take vitamins with my food ...what to do, have any of you felt you should be taking the vitamins with your food, but no way to swallow them!!! I have the ones that are chewable, but can't get Biton in a chewable, or fish oil
I take my vitamins before each meal- the amount of water I swallow to take them is neglibable. It's more important to not drink while eating or immediately after meals, to avoid 'washing out' the food from your stomach.
I used a chewable early on, but switched to capsules as soon as I could handle them. I take a multi vit three times a day, calcium three times a day, plus Vit D, B complex. At night I take iron, so as to keep it separated from calcium and/or dairy by at least two hrs, and that's also when I take my sublingual B12
