Okay, everyone, we have a team!  Please join us to walk or run, or any combination in between, around Como Lake on April 21st.

This is the Charities Challenge Challenge Obesity 5K Event.  We have a team called the "Formerly Fat Friends" team (thanks, Dan!)  Members are already signing up, and anyone who wants to join our team is welcome, whether you are pre- or post- surgery, a walker or a runner.  It will be a nice spring morning to get out and around the lake!

Sign up here:

Make sure to choose Team registration (it's the same price) and choose our team from the list.

Woot!  It will be fun!

OK - trying to register. For some odd reason, it is demanding that I put in a team password. If this is something you cannot share on this board, please PM me that info.

April 21st!  Here we come!

The team password is coffee.

I think.  I hope I remember correctly.  :-)  Give it a try!

I want to register, but what is the difference if you go with a team or individual?

No difference in price, just team members to cheer you on!  I hope you'll sign up with our team, it will be fun!

How do you start a team?  I want to start one with my exercize group

You're not going to join us??  Your exercise group could join up with us, too.

I think I just went on the website and followed the instructions for forming a group.  I can't remember exactly what I did, but it wasn't too hard.  You just have to give your group a name and a password, and then let everyone in your group know what it is so when they sign up, they can choose the group from a pull-down menu.

We'll still love you, even if you form your own group.
