Fess up Monday! Report your weigh-in here
Well, I did better this week, but only by virtue of exercising. My eating is still borderline--not out-of-control, but too many treats are around. Holiday taco bars, cookies and caramels at work, cookie bake at my sister's house, etc. I tend not to count my calories at all on weekends, which is unwise.
I did get my butt moving again, and I think that is my saving grace. I logged about 15 miles of running for the week--not stellar, but not couch-potato either. As a "treat" for getting up and getting down to the workout room this morning, I am allowing myself to report my second weigh-in. (I weigh right when I get up, and then again after I work out, have my coffee and eat breakfast. Despite eating and drinking, my after workout number is always a bit lower.)
Starting weight: 298.4 lbs
Last week: 141.1 lbs
This week: 140.7
Loss of 0.4 lbs
I should note that both weigh-in numbers would have been a loss, but neither is much. Oh well, it's not a gain either, so I should be grateful for that, right? Almost down below my freak-out number again.
So c'mon everybody--report in. I don't care if you don't report your actual weight. Just use this thread to be accountable to your OH peeps for your week, and make plans for the upcoming one. You know we won't judge--we've all been there and are still battling!!

I weigh myself every day so I don't know what I was last week but I am doing pretty good considering all the treats around. My ultimate goal is 150. I got down to 159 a couple weeks ago. Immediately went up to 161 but I'm ok with that. I was stuck at 169 for at least 6 months before so 161 is looking pretty good to me.
I stayed about the same- down .2. BUT, I just tallied my monthly stats as it was 7 months for me on Monday as well as a regular recorded weigh in. AND, I only lost 3.8 this entire last month and before this the least I have lost was 9.6... so freaking out! I know exactly why- sweets and snacking. I'll admit it and it SUCKS. I need to nip this in the bud despite the holidays and I need to start exercising, then stick with it. Ugh. I need a kick in the butt people because I want to maximize this first year. Tomorrow I am writing down everything I eat and throwing out any treats gifted to me at work. Maybe I'll get my bum on the treadmill at 5 too...
This is really a tough time of year to avoid treats! I didn't notice it as much last year because I was still in the "not-interested-in-sweets" phase of my weight loss. NO MORE! Now the sweets go down just like they used to, and I'm definitely having a hard time saying no.
Hold fast, everyone! We can do this!
If anyone is interested, there is a New Year's Day 5K run/walk around Como Lake. My DD and I are planning to do it--a good way to start the new year off right with exercise.
