Duodenal Switch - roll call!
Hi folks! I'm a recent post-op with the DS surgery. I've been going to the Burnsville/Eagan Saturday morning coffees for the past month and thoroughly enjoy them! They've helped me a lot. However I have yet to met any other local DS'ers. Surely there must be some of you out there???
I'll start... I'm Julie. I had my DS 9 weeks ago (a newbie). I'm down 52 lbs since my surgery on 09/30/11. Back in Sept. my blood pressure was 195/108 (call an ambulance!). This morning it was 139/85 and I haven't even taken my BP meds yet today. Much better!
Would love to hear from other Minnesota DS'ers. Anyone?
