Ever since I had my surgery I get these every so often.  I used to get them in my calves.  You know, the ones you get in the middle of the night that kills and your leg aches the next day.  Well, these are in my ankles and feet.  I've heard its a Potassium defeciency.  I take Potassium but I still get them.  I'm waiting for my blood test results so maybe I'll find out I still need more potassium.  Anybody get these type of cramps or charlie horses?

In addition to low potassium leg cramps can also be caused by dehydration, low levels of Vitamin D and thyroid disorders.

I feel your pain!!!

I get them something fierce as well! And they are not mild - they are crippling! Toes, feet, calves. Ouch! And the only thing I can try and do is carefully walk it out and talk through relaxation.

Having labs drawn later this week, but previously, no deficiencies noted so cannot pin them to that. We'll see if that story changes after new labs.

I used to get them in my calves all the time, and that's when I knew I needed to eat a banana.  For me it is potassium deficiency, but everyone is different.  I feel your pain, hope you get it figured out!
