Where are our Monday weighers?
Does anybody want to continue this Monday weigh-in? I find it useful for myself, but if it is not helpful for others, we don't have to continue. Let me know.
In the meantime, I think I can say I stayed pretty much the same this week. Still struggling with the late night snacking, but I'm trying to keep them healthy, at least.
Starting weight: 298.4
Last week: 140.8
This week: 140.9
This week: gain of 0.1 lbs
I'm trying to think of this weight as muscle, but perhaps I am fooling myself. Still under goal, so that's good.

YES! I love the Monday Morning Weigh In and would be sad to see it stop! It's a nice way to celebrate losses, commiserate gains and keep myself accountable. Please keep it going!
This weeks results:
Starting weight: 303
Last week: 254.5
This week: 247.5
Loss: 7 pounds
Total Loss: 55.5
I had an exceptionally big loss this week, as I've been struggling a little bit with my employment situation and haven't felt compelled to eat much. I've also been struggling with fluid intake so I'm sure some of my loss is due to that. But I know this isn't the healthy way to be losing so I'm trying to get back on track by drinking protein shakes and keeping water by my side. I was doing so well but this stress seems to be taking its toll. Any suggestions are welcome!
It's so weird because pre-WLS, my instinct when I was upset was to grab the highest, most fattening food I could find and comfort myself with it. It just doesn't work now. I tried to eat some ice cream the other day and it wasn't any comfort at all...instead it made me feel bloated and disgusting. The same with soda. I guess this is a good thing!

I like having a place to report in, but you're right, it's very slow!
Monday I was:
Starting/Highest Weight: 313
Day of Surgery: 300
Last Week: 224.8
Today: 222
Plus today I weighed in for my 5 month mark at 220.4. That's -92.6 since starting my preop liquids, and -79.6 since the day of surgery- May 19. Love, love, love my sleeve!!!
Now- onto the next 10-15 pounds so I can get into my old, skinniest jeans in the closet. :) That's my next goal, then onederland, then... we'll see. :)

Congrats on your losses, ladies! Nice job.
I'll keep posting the thread as long as there's interest (and maybe even beyond that--I find it helpful for myself. )
So this morning I headed out for my run without checking my mapped routes. I was relying on my memory--big mistake. When I got home I was really tired. After mapping the route, I realized that I ran 5 3/4 miles this morning. Good exercise, but I think I really need that GPS watch I've been eyeing. (Or maybe a memory transplant, LOL.)
Have a great rest-of-the-week! Who will be at coffee on Saturday? I think I can make it this week.
