Monday morning again--report in!

It's been a good week for me.  I set a personal record in my 5K race on Saturday, and *almost* achieved the pace I wanted to--I wanted to run 10 minute miles, and I paced at 10:04, so that's not too bad.  Even finished 4th in my age group, and in the top half of finishers.  I never in the world thought I would be doing that.

Starting weight:  298.4
Last week:  138.4
This week: 137.3
This week:  Loss of 1.1 lbs

Still not trying to lose anymore, but I can't quite seem to find the "sweet spot" of calories vs. exercise.  Yesterday I wasn't even really hungry, and ate less than 1200 calories for the day.  That was after riding my new bike 10 miles in the morning, too.  (My butt-bones hurt, LOL!)

Gotta take advantage of these gorgeous days for running, walking, riding--whatever you can do outdoors.  Summer seems so short!

Wow Renae, you are doing so well and just melting away!

No loss this week for me.  Not too bad considering I went to Valleyfair and didn't eat the greatest.  Oh speaking of....I had a few NSV's at Valleyfair.  I went to Guess Your Age and Weight...I won on both.  Never ever in my life would I have stepped on a scale in front of a crowd but I did it proudly!  Also my tushie fit very nicely on all the rides.  :)

Those are great victories Jessica!  Isnt' that great?

And I am firmly convinced that a day of indulgence, like during a trip to Valleyfair (or to the State Fair, which I am planning) is okay.  Who wants to live their life believing we can never do those things?  It's just that we can't do them everyday!

I'm a bit late, but will chime in anyway.  :)

It's been a fun, busy, productive summer.  I had my surgery May 19, then had the summer off (I'm a teacher.)  I've had some meetings the last couple weeks and go back full time for the first time since surgery on Monday.  I'm excited for the new year, but sad my summer is ending.  Despite the busyness and being home, I've still managed to lose a lot of weight, and will go back to work almost 70 pounds lighter!!!  My sleeve is an amazing tool!!

Starting/Highest Weight: 313
Day of Surgery: 300
Last Week: 249.2
Today: 243.8
