Good Monday morning--Weigh-in time!
Okay, I'm not trying to lose anymore, and I actually thought I was bad this weekend. But apparently my exercise is making up for it, so I had a pretty big loss this week. I'm sure I'll bounce back, but that's okay.
Starting weight: 298.4
Last week: 144.1
This week: 138.4
This week: Loss of 5.7 lbs!
I have now lost a total of 160 lbs since surgery, and I'm very happy. This is still the best decision I have ever made for myself and my health.
I'm running another 5K race this Saturday, then moving up to 10K in September and October. I never thought I'd be able to do that. Next year, I'm going to do a Triathlon!

I have to get back on the exercise trail. I think it is one of the keys to long term success. A hobby, yep that is what I need. Congrats on your continued success!! I am now 18 months out. My OH my how time flies. I have regained a bit overall and will be chatting with my surgeon tomorrow. I am sure to have a renewed commitment.

I agree, I truly think exercise is the key. Believe me, I am NOT a fan of exercise; I was never an athlete as a kid, I was always the last one picked for the team, yada yada. I'm sure many of you know that feeling.
I can't say that I love getting out and exercising now, although the running is starting to grow on me. But more important is the way I feel when I am done exercising--stronger, leaner, healthier. I think that's what I'm getting addicted to.
If exercise is my cross-addiction, that can't be all bad.

I stayed about the same (-.2) this week. Still a loss, maybe? :) I had a really salty dinner Sunday night and a few more bites and tastes than usual which I think both slowed me down. Next week- hoping for -65.
I have a garage sale this weekend, then will catch up with you all more regularly at coffee after that.
