Being bad and paying the price: Weigh-In Time
Well, I have been so bad the last couple of days. Yesterday I ran five miles--first time ever, and I am very proud of myself --but then I let myself have permission to eat things I otherwise wouldn't. I ate a DQ mini blizzard, and movie-theater popcorn, and then this morning I ate a donut. The scale was being very kind to me until this morning.
Starting weight: 298.4
Last week: 144.8
This week: 144.1
This week: Loss of 0.7 lbs. but I was down more earlier in the week.
At least the donut I ate this morning proved to me that my tool is still working--I immediately dumped on that. Foolish of me, but my DD is moving out, and we walked to the donut shop this morning. Might be the last time she and I take a morning walk for awhile, since she'll be on her own.

CONGRATS on the 5 mile! My knees would never allow that...
As for the bad choices? We're human. You recognize what you did that you maybe shouldn't have, so forgive yourself and move on with better choices. (I need to do this myself!)
CELEBRATE that your scale still went in the right direction!!! WOO HOO!!!!
