Cat Litter

Until a point is clearly made it's sometimes hard to actually judge a thing. Take cat litter. I bought some last night. I got a 35 pound container and could barely move it from the shelf to the lower rack of the shopping cart. Never mind then having to load it into the trunk of the car. It was only 35 pounds and I had trouble lifting it. I've lost almost 2 cat litter containers of weight since March. I hauled that weight around all the time and never thought much about it. Next time I buy cat litter I'm going to consider the light fluffy stuff that doesn't weigh much. Easier to tote around.

Awesome!!  Nice perspective.  I struggle with those cat litter containers too and never thought of it that way.

Isn't that amazing???  I made a similar comparison with bags of dog food, also 35#.   At the very least, it was awkward to haul that bag around.  I started to track my weight loss in how many bags of dog food I had lost - nearly 5!  If I look at 5 bags of dog food and ponder having it all somehow strapped to my body?  Shoot...  It's a wonder I was able to move in that body!

As for buying the lighter fluffier cat litter?  I say - KEEP BUYING THE 35 POUND BUCKETS!!  Keep reminding yourself how far you've come, it'll help you stay on track!!!
