Hey everyone! So im new to the site, and i was wondering if minnesota care or medical assistance covers the surgery? thanks

yes it does.  It only makes a difference as to what health plan you have chosen.  They all have different requirements before approving the surgery. 

Call your health plan and ask them what the requirememnts are BEFORE you do anything.
