Looking for VSG to DS Revision

I'm not looking for a revision but I know someone who is. She's in ND and aparently there's no on in the whole state who does the VSG to DS revision. I've recommended she contact Dr. Buchwald - he only does open and she'd rather do lap - and Dr. IK - he requires a 1 year wait between VSG and DS. Any other ideas I can pass on to her?

I'm loving my sleeve. I don't think I've ever felt better. I'm 60 and on top of the world right now. 

I'd rec. that she wait the year-seems to be the standard for the 2nd part. :)

Is that what you did - wait a year? Or if you go with the DS is it all done in one go? I'm just curious.  Don't know anything about DS or revisions.

Dr. Leslie in the University of MN practice occasionally does the DS lap, but he may give your friend the same advice as Dr. I. I've also heard that Dr. Peter Kelly at St. Paul Surgeons does DSs but I also believe he only does them open.

 Just for the record, Dr. Kelly does NOT do the Duodenal Switch. I know he says he does, but drill him sometime about it and you'll soon realize he has no clue!

Dr. Buchwald is her best bet at this point since what she really needs is a consultation with a qualified surgeon.
