Oh... and the reason why I'm seldom on this board is that most of you don't seem have my surgery (the VSG), and I prefer talking with people who've had a similar surgery...

Howdy Darla!
I agree that the board is at a very slow crawl. I kind of glance in at least once a week and keep on going, because there is nothing new going on. I find myself checking into face-book more because it is fast, it to is slowing down now with nicer weather.
I always need and give support. I go to 2 support group each month and we have a small coffee group that gets together once a month to hash things out. I participate in 5K's, 10K's and any other activity I can get into.
Gearing up for a WLS retreat come Oct in Northern MN, I think it will be a boot camp theme and get into some nitty gritty things.
My scale is up 10 pounds from my extreme lowest, and I would be OK with that IF I wasn't trying so hard to make sure I fit into my wedding dress come July, oh yeah I am getting married- that takes up a lot of my on line time too! Lets add stress to that plate of crapola LOL

I look everyday but do not post like I used too. I can not get myself to write what should be done when I can not even get it done myself. I went to the Dr. last week and their scale said 190. I am so pissed. The more pissed off I get the more I snack and eat. I need to just get my ass kicked and do what needs to be done.
I miss putting in my 2 cents all the time LOL but I just don't think it is fair to write to people, when I can't even handle it myself.
Does that make sense?

The thing is, and I've said this alot - to myself as much as others - when you LEAST want to participate in any kind of support (boards, coffee, etc...) is when you MOST need to force yourself to do so! DO NOT let yourself slide down that slippery slope, DO NOT let that vicious negative spiral suck you completely in!
You know you can do it. And you know the stresses and shyt that are trying to sabotage the progress you've already made. You know you have your tool, you know how you need to be using it, and you know when you make bad choices. The trick is figuring out how to break the destructive behaviors in favor of honoring your tool and putting it back to work for you.
