I'm not gonna lie, it makes me sad how the once GINORMOUS Maple Grove coffee group has more or less died. Crapped out. Vanished.

I want to give it one more shot before I throw my hands up in the air and totally give up on it - being the only person there is really not my idea of support, I MUCH prefer yukking it up with my fellow losers!

So with that said, and knowing I won't bother going if nobody else tells me they'll be there, please come!!!

I wish I could go. Every one who seems to steadily post on the MN forum seems to be from the metro area. I live way up north and don't know of any OH'ers that are near me.

I was going to do some travelling coffee groups, but I love my So of the River group and after that will be out of town for 6 of the next 8 weeks. I'll be available in Mid August, Keep posting, there are a lot of new people that would like some tips and encouragement. I need their enthusiasm, so it really is a win-win when people get together

And I couldn't agree with you more about the benefits of getting together with other WLS people - A lot of people at my stage of the game seem to think they've got it all down, and don't need the on-going support. Maybe I know everything I need to know about the technical aspects of WLS (OR MAYBE I DON'T!), but I get something much more important to MY success when I spend time with others who are newer to the whole deal - I get to refresh my enthusiasm and excitement for my tool! I posted not long ago about how much I love looking at the before & after shots, because they remind me of what I've been through, and how I need to constantly be aware of and respect my tool. Live people are even better!

I'll get myself up and come up that way. I don't wanna see it die out, either. It's been a fun group to get together with and I like coming up that way every now and then. I don't get to any of them often enough.

I really do wish I could make it this week! I have to get my daughter to Maplewood by 8:15 tomorrow morning for a soccer tournament.

The few coffee groups that I have been able to make, were a lot of fun and very encouraging. We cannot let it die!

I hope to make the next one.

Thanks for checking in, Brenda! I'd love to see you again ~ summer is busy, and as long as there are ANY people willing to show up, I'll keep it going! It's just been pretty sparse lately, as you know.
